I’ve been meaning to write this review for a while now this place is truly a hidden gem. I could be wrong, but it seems to be a family-owned, small business, and it absolutely deserves recognition. The food here is incredibly fresh and flavorful. I have a very sensitive stomach, so I can usually tell when food has been sitting out or cooked with old grease that’s never been the case here. I eat here all the time because it’s a safe haven for me. The restaurant is always spotless, and it honestly looks like someone scrubs the place down thoroughly. Cleanliness, along with great taste, is very important to me, and this place delivers both.
The mangú is made with real plantains, unlike other places that add flour. That authenticity makes a huge difference in flavor and quality.
Every time I visit, the staff is friendly and welcoming. The only downside is that they sometimes run out of food but honestly, that’s a sign of how good it is. Things sell out because people love it.Trust me, if you’re looking for amazing Dominican food, this is the place to go ! Please support this family owned restaurant !!

I ordered food from them last night and it was very good. I figured I’d go In person today and see what they have so I can order some food for takeout. I have a service dog. I brought him in with me. The restaurant is small so I knew I wouldn’t be eating there. The lady behind the counter looked at my dog with disgust . She started criticizing him in front of everyone in the restaurant. My dog is vaccinated. My dog is as clean as a whistle. My dog is well behaved, and my dog is a certified service dog. I explained that to her, and she did not care. She kept criticizing him and basically almost insulting him. She asked me for the service card. I said sure I was about to take it out my wallet when she continued and just went on again, criticizing him and telling me that he can’t be here, he cannot be in the restaurant. I said yes he can. By law, he can be if I wanted him to be. I told her if I want to eat here he’s allowed to be here too. I just wanted to see what the food looked like And to seewhat they had available to eat , order my food and leave. The lady was absolutely terrible. She went full blown out on me. Insulting me insulting my dog Without even bothering to like To even talk to me politelyShe doesn’t know me what gives her the right to do that to me in public in front of everyone In there, my dog and I would look like we were degenerates. My first time there and it was a really terrible experience. She had no right to treat me like that or even talk about my dog. Smfh

I visit the restaurant on a recommendation by a friend and let me just say it was worth it. The food is amazing the daily food selection is excellent. I had the Sancocho soup and is the best I had at a restaurant in a very long time. The ladies attending us were very attentive, courteous, respectful and friendly and I did not felt pressured into ordering or to leave after o was done eating. Once again the food was amazing. One last thing the Prices are extremely great !!!!!!!

The bacalao and the turkey taste terrible. I don’t understand why these restaurants can’t cook. Or they are serving you really old food. And it is so expensive. I was starving and I still could not eat this. It looks really good but it’s not well made food.

Cocina Latina Restaurant’s address is perfect, but its staff’s helpfulness is even better. The complete team at Cocina Latina Restaurant displays niceness and welcomes everyone warmly. Their dishes present flavors without comparison elsewhere. I connect with the energy in this place. The restaurant provides dependable quality.
