I ordered the tamales, the taste was fine, but they were a jelly type texture, it also had a HUGE potato piece in them. The green sauce is great tho..

Amazing. Went in for a quick to-go bite to eat on a Saturday evening. Not too busy but a few people eating inside. It was clean and the food was definitely freshly made. I had what I think is the best burrito I’ve ever enjoyed. Highly recommend!

Their breakfast burrito is good, but the staff not only are unable to speak or understand English, they evidently have no idea what is on their menu board. Under breakfast burritos, there is one that is ham, cheese, and egg, then in spanish Jamón, queso y huevo. Simple, one would think, right? I stated about 4 times (while pointing at the very thing on their menu board) “the one that says ham, egg, and cheese. Jamón, queso y huevo. Confused woman cannot grasp that simple concept in either language. Then a man came up, told her no, breakfast one, and asked me if I wanted frijoles and rice on it. I said no, just exactly what is on your menu there – ham, eggs, and cheese, and he replies “All burritos have frijoles and rice”. Again, their menu board clearly states otherwise.
To top it off, I handed her a $10 to pay for the $6.99 plus tax item, and she gives me one dollar bill in change. I took it and split – no use in trying to make her understand math, either.
Breakfast burrito was tasty, but I’ll never go back.

Hidden gem in NRH. The food is consistent and reminds of the Mexican food I grew up with my family. I do enjoy the carne guisada, flavor is spot on for what I remember.
I admit the place is not pretty, but I don’t care as long as the food is good. Been coming here for a few months. Almost did not want to share lol.

Small place, but very comfortable and family friendly. We love the food here!

I thought the food reminded me a lot of Mexico. Every bite I took reminded me of the memories I had visiting. It’s truly a hole in the side of the gas station wall, so don’t expect fancy servers or appeal. The wait time was surprisingly not bad either. They have a small crew so the wait maybe long, but I couldn’t tell and I came hungry too.

Very very delicious food and friendly people! I have tried their Burrito Al Pastor and Yuca Frita. So good. They are kind and genuine people too. Cocina Latina also has the best Salsa Picante!

I love the little restaurant. It’s reminiscent of being in El Salvador with their big pictures of food.
!!Yucca Frita. Get the fried chicarron meaty chunks, curtido (cabbage) and cheese mix. Do dd the sauce.
Pupusas. Big pupusas they just lacked a little on the savory flavor. Their curitdo and sauces are good. These are well valued item.
Fyi. Order up front. The restaurant is adjacent to a gas station.

This place continues to be one of my all time favorites, the authentic flavors and the oh-so good prices keep me coming back. They have a good variety of different dishes to choose from I haven’t gotten tired of this place I have my favorites, but I can’t round it down to a few things so many of their dishes fall under my favorites! The parrillada is chicken, shrimp, sausage and beef sauteed with bell peppers and onions comes with rice and beans. The pork chop and wings plate, carne asada with shrimp, Taco plate and breakfast burritos are just so amazing y’all check out these prices this place is a must try if you haven’t already you’re gonna fall in love.
