Very casual restaurant. Papote (owner) and staff members are attentive and friendly. One of the best Puerto Rican food restaurants I’ve tried in San Antonio so far! Highly recommend!!

This meal is a masterpiece of comfort and flavor. The tender, slow-cooked pork, layered with caramelized onions, melts effortlessly with each bite, offering a deep, smoky richness. The macaroni is perfectly creamy, providing a soothing balance, while the fresh lettuce and tomato bring a crisp, lively contrast. Every element — from the hearty, savory beans to the careful seasoning — feels intentional and soulful. It’s the kind of food that speaks to memory and home, wrapped in simplicity but executed with undeniable mastery. A flawless, heartfelt plate.

Felt like home! From the cooking, the ambiance, the service and the conversation I thoroughly enjoyed my visit. I got a full plate of food, drinks and empanadillas for $23. Loved everything 10/10

Cuban Sandwhich was delicious, the sharp mustard and cheese complimented the meats very well. The tripleta Sandwhich was also very good but man I’ll definitely be back for that cubano.. Also came with fries. Worth the $8-$9 bucks. Place and parking is a bit small but worth the hassle.

The food at this place was amazing totally different from any food. I’ve tried here in San Antonio. Their tacos are so delicious and taste so different from traditional street tacos that you would taste in California and San Antonio. I would definitely come back here very unique tasting food I highly recommend this place.

Good meal as I visited for the first time. During my lunch visit, they did not have the full menu available, but I did order for the items they had cooked. The meal definitely felt authentic and home cooked, and it was a good serving for the price point. I’m definitely up to trying again to get the full menu. Also, it’s of note that they have a small inside location now

I loved the food! The service was good. Polite and good people. Atmosphere is small and cozy. I have sensitivity to strong smells. The only thing I did not like was the strong smell of Fabuloso. It was definitely not watered down. Fabuloso is not a disinfectant. It is a deodorizer. Pine-sol is a disinfectant and a great cleaner. I wish everyone would understand this.
