This place is the definition of a perfect hole-in-the-wall gem! The food is insanely good — the kind of flavors that make you stop mid-bite and just appreciate life a little. The platter was loaded, fresh, and full of authentic flavor. The Boss Tacos absolutely lived up to their name, and the pupusa was one of the best I’ve had anywhere.
The staff was friendly, the portions were generous, and the whole place has that cozy, unpretentious vibe that makes you want to come back the next day. If you’re craving real Mexican/Salvadorian comfort food, this spot is a must-try. Highly recommend!

Fair warning – this place is addictive and one of my new Southside staples. Staff is so welcoming and attentive. Setup is good. Menu is a decent size. Birria tacos are flavorful, crunchy and well seasoned. But the star of the show is those pupusas that make me question what truly qualifies as an addiction. As I’ve told my sons I can stop at any time but why when those zucchini and cheese steaming pillows of goodness are right there served with Salvadoran cabbage slaw and marinated veggies. And you can’t beat dinner at $11. Order a margarita and spend some time working your way down their menu. You’ll thank me.

Give this place a try and you’ll fall in love. It was so nice getting away from the generic Mexican food that every restaurant seems to have. Every bite had so much flavor and was delicious. The prices are affordable and you get a lot for what you pay. Please go try this place and share the experience. You won’t be disappointed.

Air conditioning was not working properly so that was a rough start. The table the host wanted to seat me at was dirty. The chips and relish were not very good but the salsa was great. The quesabirra tacos weren’t bad.

I had the molcajete this was the smallest molcajete I’ve ever seen and for the price man it was not worth it. This lacked ingredients, flavor my companion had the queso birria tacos oh man the most bland queso birria tacos I’ve ever had the consome was the worse so so bland. The place didn’t really change from the previous restaurant there it looks the same. They have beer and tacos in their windows but they don’t serve beer like the previous restaurant there. It looked delicious but a big let down. The store bought tortillas really made it even worse.

First time coming here and will definitely be coming back. The chicken chimichanga was very flavorful, the special salsa was hot and delicious. The cheese sauce on the chimichanga was really good.
