Ribs, amazing. Burnt ends, amazing . Wings – dry. Potatoe salad little flavor and also dry. Mac n cheese, probably should have done the pepper jack, there might have been flavor in that. If you like spice, this is the place. For the dryer meats ask for extra sauce. We also, paid for extra pickle and onion but didnt have it. Overall, meats are great but not worth the $50+.

This has to be some of the best BBQ in New Orleans. Everything was cooked to perfection and full of flavor. Not a single thing we ordered was dry or overcooked. You can top every thing off with their unique house made BBQ sauce. The food here is award winning and is a must try for any fan of real BBQ.

I went in on a Wednesday to get take out. This was my first time there and it smelled like Smokey heaven. A customer just left out so it was pretty empty. I was the only person in line, but I’m patient it took them about 10 minutes to wait on me at the counter. I ordered my food time goes by everyone behind me got their food that they ordered and placed at the counter. This whole take out process for me lasted 50 minutes. Service leaves a lot to be desired. the smoked wings are great, brisket amazing, along with the half of chicken. The bbq sauce has just the right amount of spice. The sides I ordered were the pepper jack Mac and cheese, baked beans and fries. The fries were good and baked beans as well. Only complaint Mac and cheese was very dry it had a good flavor though. I do recommend ordering ahead so you won’t be like me, but they don’t have specials listed online so you need to check those out in person. The food is great though I will be back again.

This is the best bbq in Nola, and it’s clearly run by a head. Jerry band was piped in over one of the best plates of bbq I’ve had in a very long time. It was next level. It’s actually probably one of the best bbq plates in the country. Every single thing slapped super hard. Get after it! Those ribs were some of the most perfectly cooked ribs I’ve had in years. They weren’t to smoky, and they weren’t too mushy. Real ones know. They were perfect, and the girls working the counter were super friendly and hospitable. I’ll be back. I would’ve bought a t shirt to rep this place if they had one.

Came here on a recommendation from a friend and walked out feeling like we just had the best BBQ in New Orleans! Brisket, pulled pork and sausage were our favorites. Loved the smoky beans. The owner is super nice and the service fantastic.

Upon entry the smell punches you in the face. And quickly the food punches your taste buds.
Best ribs in the city. The texture, flavor, and look was right on. Exactly how central city USED to make their ribs.
Nice black bark on the burned ends. The way the gods intended.
These folks know how to make sides too, ya’ll. Brussels and brisket dirty rice were flawless. Cracklin were hot and chewy boudin was perfect.
The staff was friendly and I’ll return many times. Well worth the 15 minute drive!

I ordered the brisket bomb and the pit boss sandwich. The brisket bomb was delicious it was the right amount of spice and flavor and filled with brisket, I would definitely recommend. The pit boss sandwich was good as well the brisket was very tender and juicy. I would have liked less topping on the sandwich and more brisket, just my personal preference. I will definitely return to experience more items from the menu! The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable.
