I dined at Cocha for lunch. I was very impressed by the wide variety of offerings on the menu and I chose the Indonesian Noodle dish and added the grilled Gulf Shrimp. It was flavorful, full of veggies and with the added protein was great. In retrospect, I would have also ordered the steak as an additional protein. There was live acoustic guitar music and many patrons enjoyed al fresco dining. My waiter was very nice but a little bit green but with time I think his skills will improve. I absolutely loved the tres leches. I have eaten many varieties and this one was not too sweet and very light in texture. They had a clean bathroom but the paper towel dispenser was not working. The bartender had a few patrons who enjoyed their meals and conversation there. I would say that the acoustics because of the hard surfaces can make some conversations seem very loud. Overall it was very enjoyable.

See this is why I can’t be an influencer. I was soooo hungry and the food looked so amazing that I forgot to take pictures of it.

Ok, we were in town for Louisiana Half marathon and decided to grab a bite at Cocha postrace. Hungry as we can be, we skipped appetizers and went straight for the entrees.

I ordered the Lamb sliders and ohhh boy, they were absolutely delicious. They looked incredibly appetizing as well. The quantity was decent too. I could’ve had a little more and do wish it was served with some fries/etc.

Vernando was incredible. Him and his brother Enrique (who owns the restaurant) were great hosts! Enrique’s wife is a sommelier and I absolutely wish I wasn’t in a training block otherwise I’d have loved to try some wine. They have an extensive wine list.

The space was very chic and live music was a great touch.

I definitely recommend this restaurant.

We went for brunch and it was wonderful. We sat outside because it was a nice day, they had live music inside that they were piping to the outdoor seating. Our waitress was very well informed and also patient as we tried to narrow down the menu. I was very happy with my decision but will be back soon to try more of their creations!

Absolutely loved my experience at Cocha. I ordered the Indonesian noodles, the miso bowl, and the Criollis — every single dish was incredibly fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the service was just as impressive. From the moment we walked in and were greeted by the hostess to being seated, everything felt smooth and welcoming.

The owner even made rounds to each table, which was such a personal and thoughtful touch. Our server gave great recommendations, and everything they suggested was spot on. Overall, it was an amazing experience from start to finish. Highly recommend!

This is our favorite restaurant in Baton Rouge. It’s amazing more people don’t know about it. The food is fantastic, the owners are very involved and greet many of their guests, and you can tell the staff enjoys working there. It’s rare to get high level service at restaurants these days, but here you can tell it’s a priority.

Hands-down the best ribeye we’ve ever had!

Cocha absolutely blew us away. My husband and I stopped in for dinner and ordered the ribeye steaks with leek purée, mushrooms, and asparagus—and let me tell you, we’re still talking about it! Perfectly cooked, tender, and full of flavor. That leek purée deserves its own fan club.

We got the yellowfin tuna & rice as an app and it was spicy and delicious!

The service was just as incredible as the food. Jess was our server and she was phenomenal—warm, attentive, and super knowledgeable about the menu and drinks. She made the entire experience even better.

We sat out front, which was such a cozy and relaxing spot. The vibe was peaceful and inviting, and since we were staying within walking distance, we got to enjoy a lovely stroll to and from the restaurant. The cocktails? Also a 10/10.

Cocha is the whole package: food, drinks, service, and atmosphere. If you’re in Baton Rouge, this place is a must. Five stars all the way!

Really loved the food here – the vegetarian options were insanely good. Anne Louise was our server and she was super sweet. You’ve gotta try the jackfruit dish and the lasagna – delicious. The presentation was on point too!

Had lunch with my wife at Choca on Monday the 2nd of Feb. We shared the Cocha salad, the Lamb Sliders and the Pastrami Sandwich. The salad was unique and bright, the sliders were well prepared and very good but the star of the show was the Pastrami sandwich, what a wonderful blend of flavors and textures! Atmosphere was great, staff was friendly and took great care of us. Highly recommend Cocha if your in Baton Rouge!

The best dining experience we have had in a long time. Caleb was awesome and the food was delicious. Our party of four enjoyed the hand crafted cocktails that were unique and tasty. Highlights were the corn cakes, beet and burrata salad, and duck confit. Wish we lived in Baton Rouge so we could return.

Gorgeous space, interesting menu choices, stellar service. We went for brunch on a Saturday around 11:30 and there was no wait, only maybe three other tables were sat. I got a Thai julep that was bright and refreshing, my partner got some sour beer on draft that he liked. I got the Japanese patatas bravas, everything about the dish was incredible but the brisket was waaaay overcooked. It was dry like jerky, which was disappointing. The potatoes and egg and kewpie mayo more than made up for that, though. My partner got the pork belly sliders and THOSE were absolute perfection. Phenomenal bite. We would definitely go back for dinner or a weekday lunch.
