Social Profile:

Our primary mission is to serve and support veterans—men and women, from the newest generation of combat vets back to our World War II combatants and all foreign war veterans in between. Many members joined because they desired the camaraderie they had in the military. Now, they value being a part of a veterans service organization that takes care of its brothers and sisters. We share the common bond of serving overseas in a combat or hostile fire zone, far from home and perhaps far from anything we could have ever imagined.

I had the unfortunate occasion to visit this club for the first time in months. I had stopped coming here because of the new bar manager. Coincidentally I was in the bar last week when I watched as a patron came into the bar already appearing to be drunk he sat down and astonishingly they served him. This was around 3:00 in the afternoon. At around 6:00 I noticed that he was getting loud and Ashley the new bar manager walked over to him and told him he was done so he put his cup saucer on top of his glass and pushed it forward. She said to him you’re right you are finished and you are banned give me your membership card.
To my surprise Ashley told this guy to leave the bar while being overly intoxicated. All I could think while he was leaving was I hope he doesn’t get into an accident and kill somebody. I haven’t seen him since then because I have not been back to the bar so I don’t know if he even made it home. I am very surprised that Ashley did not call for somebody to come pick him up to take him home. But then again I’m really not because Ashley is a bully at the bar in fact after this guy left she walked behind the bar and she said something to the effect of anybody else want to take me on.
I don’t plan on coming back here for a while hopefully Mac and Amy can get this situation fixed before Ashley becomes the reason why nobody visits this VFW.

Great food and even better atmosphere. You will leave here with your belly full and your wallet full as well. People are always freindly and will come right up and talk to you like your family. I love this place.

There were 5 of us that ordered breakfast…. all 5 orders came out separately…. most ridiculous thing I have experienced in a long time…. and there was only 1 other table in the place…. what would they do if they were actually busy????? We were considering joining but now I’m not sure…..
That whole episode turned me off….

Please visit to help your veterans. They have started serving meals and they are very good. Excellent chef. They have bingo for the public on Sunday afternoons with cash prizes, there is also a kareoke night, and they occasionally have live entertainment. They are open to the public for these special events. If you are not a member and not a veteran you can still join the VFW. Please check it out and help your veterans who have put their lives on the line for your freedom.

Love going to the Ephrata VFW! We are social members and we have always been given a warm welcome. Chef Bryan makes AWESOME food- hands down the best wings in the area along with many other delicious menu items. Don’t forget to check out the $5 breakfast on Sundays!
