I hyped myself up too much looking at photos before coming… the food WAS good, but not exceptionally great, especially for the price. The fish is fresh, it wasn’t bad at all. But the menu is small and was nothing special about it to be honest. I wanted some caviars and sea urchins and truffles like I saw in pictures but none of those were on the menu anymore. Chefs choice sashimi was just typical tuna, yellowtail, salmon and scallop – really nothing special. I didn’t really find special rolls I’d like either, we ordered beach house roll and again it was good, just not for $25.

Service was great though, friendly and courteous, we stayed past the reservation limit (2hrs) and she never kicked us out and very patiently waited for us to finish. Atmosphere is also great, small space but chill, dark with awesome art. Drinks were also on point.

When the menu updates I would try again.

We had such an excellent experience here tonight. Our server, Rachel, was very knowledgeable and gave us wonderful service. The food & drinks were both outstanding. Awesome playlist too! We had one of the best meals in recent memory for sure! Thank you so much! We will definitely be back.

Anything on the menu is good. The drinks are strong. The waitresses are excellent. I sat at the bar and I was very comfortable. Will go back.

I went again. Better then the first time. The food is exceptional and the customerservice from the two handsome guys was great! I wish I had their names. One had ears pierced and the other a beard. Really cool Hawaiian style shirts but their customer service is above and beyond. (This place was too good. I didn’t have high expectations, but the sushi was really good. In my opinion, it is better than Billy Sushi. I thought the place was too dark and a little hard to find, but who cares? I mean, the food was great, and the service was outstanding. I’m definitely coming back. I had a few sushies and the Nigiri. Very fresh! Look for the blue eye )

What a beautiful spot off the beaten path in the North Loop. The space is beautiful and cozy. The bar staff gave excellent reccomendations on cocktails and I was so happy with how they turned out. I missed the window for the kitchen and will be back. The good looked delicious.

Excellent date night spot! The food was incredible, drinks were well conceptualized, and service was great! Sake Don was delicious and the perfect sized portion. Top notch atmosphere on a Saturday night!

Chef Baaska and his team along with the staff at the restaurant put on an excellent experience that rivals some of the most famous sushi restaurants in the country. The fish itself is certainly the top tier of quality and freshness that you’ll find, they go above and beyond to import a beautiful selection. The menu is focused and has several options for a sushi eater. Reservations are recommended as space can be limited, and I’m sure it helps the restaurant to be planful. We should help them offer us this amazing sushi by being punctual and committed to our reservations when it comes to this level of quality and preparation. Go try Cobble and it’s safe to say you won’t regret it.

Cobble Social House was the perfect spot for a double date with drinks and sushi. It is dark and loud in there with only a few small tables and a couple seats at the bar and I was totally into that speakeasy-like vibe and the music choices. For out of towners, this is the nice area of downtown that the foodies flock to.

Both the drinks and the sushi were creative, fresh, and delicious. The masculine Barbie cocktail was the favorite at our table. The salmon tataki and the shrimp tempura were great starters. The SAT roll and seared salmon rolls were some of the more unique rolls I’ve found lately and I loved the textures and flavors going on in there. I don’t encourage eating blue fin tuna but I bet they do it justice here if you did want to try it.

Joe is one the most gracious owners I have ever met. His staff and the bar tender CJ are so knowledgeable about almost any drink you throw at them. Hands down my favorite place to go with my lady.

If you like delicious sushi, aesthetically-pleasing and moody atmospheres, and the nicest staff, this is your new place to go in the Twin Cities. There is uncovered parking available for patrons next to the entrance. If you see a neon sign of an eye on top of an unassuming door, dont be fooled like I was into thinking its a psychic, you’ve found the right place. The only psychic thing about this place is that they knew how I like my drinks better than I do… Spooky.
