Have dined here several times and the food is always excellent! We love getting the greek hummus every time. As for drinks, the main tai is amazing. The service here is always great and the atmosphere is lovely.

As a first-time visitor to Cobalt Smoke & Sea, I found myself very pleased with the experience. I opted for the Summer Vegetable Pasta, and it did not disappoint—fresh, flavorful, and cooked just right. The wait staff was friendly and attentive, making the dining experience even better. We chose to sit outside, and the outdoor seating was a nice touch, offering a pleasant atmosphere. Overall, it was a great meal, and I’ll definitely be back.

Had an incredible anniversary dinner here! To drink we got the Old Fashioned and Smoke show, and loved both! We got the Spring Burrata for an appetizer, which was incredible! For entrees, I got the Alaskan Halibut and my fiance got the Braised Wagyu Beef Cheeks. Overall, incredible experience!

This was amazing date night dinner place. The atmosphere was gorgeous with lit trees and cozy seating. The food was pricey, but once it arrived we realize why. The portions are large and the chef did an amazing job because the food was some of the most delicious we had. I had the porkchop and it had to have been 2 inches thick! Perfectly cooked and seasoned. The drinks are fantastic too. Highly recommend for dates or celebrations.

Cobalt is one of our favorites. The food and service are top notch. The menu is not big but changes with the seasons. The handcrafted cocktails are yummy and a great way to start the meal.

I was so excited to attend the valentine event hosted and accidentally booked the wrong date. I called today at 3:33 to see if I could switch my date from today to tomorrow and the lady who answered was so rude and rushed me off the phone after saying she had no availability. I understand this is a popular event with limited space and I don’t doubt it would have been a great experience but first impression is everything and her tone was just a turn off. And she immediately cancelled my reservation without even allowing me to see if I could find someone to transfer it to. I went online right after I got off the phone with her to check availability the next day and there was room showing available so I’m not happy about that at all as I forfeited my deposit for today.

I was hesitant to try a new restaurant right now, not knowing how restaurants are having to change operations due to pandemic restrictions. However, we were very pleased with our first experience at Cobalt Smoke & Sea and look forward to returning!
The restaurant itself is very neatly decorated and has an outdoor patio as well as indoor dining available. We dined on a Friday evening and enjoyed the live music outside. We were warmly greeted and promptly and kindly served.
The Summer cocktail menu featured some comfortable staples, but with added mixology flair. I opted for the Newtown’s Law cocktail, but next time will look forward to trying the Pineapple Express or the very neat-looking Peach Pop-Arazzi.
We started with Truffle Fries (which was served with a delicious garlic aioli) and the Caesar Salad (a bit of a small portion, but it was delicious). For our entrees I selected the Spring Risotto and added a crab cake to the side. My husband ordered the Duck Fat Burger. We both thoroughly enjoyed our meals! Though we were stuffed, we ordered the house-made “ding dong” dessert to go, and it was very tasty.
All in all, we had a very good experience and will look forward to returning!

EVERYTHING WAS AMAZING!! Food, service, drinks!!! Will definitely return on my next trip to St. Louis! Do yourself a favor and get the Burger, wagyu and duck fat! Best I’ve ever had! Apps were delicious too! We had the crab cake, goat cheese balls and Pork belly. Free r dessert, we had the lemon tiramisu.

It was the first day of their menu switch! The fall menu. I got the roasted veggies with no cheese and also the Autumn Salad with no meat and no cheese. I really liked the roasted veggies, very tasty! I added this to my salad and was great! The salad was a little on the oily side for me… maybe it was over dressed. I did like the figs that were in the salad, gave it some body. The truffle fries had a lot of burnt pieces. I picked around the fries to avoid the cheese which was good for me cause there didn’t seem to be a lot of cheese on it. My coworkers really enjoyed the fries with the sauce. I also got the spirit free berry splash, this had a ginger beer base and topped with fruit juice. I really enjoyed this as well (I am a fan of ginger beer).
Environment
This was located on a strip mall. There is a lot of parking space available, there is a small outdoor seating area that faces the parking lot. On the inside was very nicely decorated with fake trees and pretty nice decor. Love the time that was spent in it to create the environment. Lights were not bright but bright enough to see your dish and the people. There is also an area for live music, I was there on a Wednesday and there was music… not sure if it is a daily thing.
