We visited Coastal for the first time and it did not disappoint! We tried the fried pickles, wings, pulled pork, tots, Mac and cheese, sprouts, grilled cheese, BYO chicken sandwich and it was all delicious. Cold beers too with a wide variety! Good, friendly service despite being fairly busy, also great vibe and selection of music. They have good specials too during the week and weekends…Overall we will and have recommended this place already! Forgot to take more photos because we went hungry and was ready to eat when the food came

Had a late lunch on a weekday. Seated immediately and order taken promptly by friendly server. Food was excellent! I had fish and chips wife had wings. We also had cheese curds which were yummy! I highly recommend this restaurant!!!

We definitely had a tasty meal here at Coastal Wings & Spirits! We started with the delicious cheese curds, which were perfectly crispy, flavorful, and gooey. For our main courses, the cheeseburger with fries was cooked just right and incredibly satisfying, while the traditional smoked wings were a definite highlight – tender, smoky, and packed with flavor. The service was excellent, attentive without being intrusive, and the atmosphere was welcoming. We highly recommend Coastal Wings & Spirits for anyone looking for great food and a relaxed dining experience in the Sneads Ferry area! Go check em’ out!

I rarely have to give a bad review but after waiting well over an hour and with 4 take out orders going out the door plus 3 tables that came in after us but who received their food before we did, I felt it was necessary. The manager did come over to apologize to us and said between their catering and only 3 people back there, they were struggling to keep up. Had she at least offered to comp even one drink, I would consider trying them again. Husband had the chicken wrap, listed as a popular favorite. The chicken was extremely tough to chew through. I had 6 piece chicken wings. They were good but as you can see in the picture the celery that came with it looks very sad. It should be noted, we when arrived it was hardly busy at all. This kind of service is not acceptable in my opinion.

My wife and I Came here after a beach day with our beagle puppy. We sat outside and were seated immediately. They brought out water and carrots for our thirsty little puppy. There was a very kind server who gave us great meal options and told us about the Sunday Funday; 20% off wings and select items. My pup had fun, wife enjoyed the pretzel appetizer and her burger, and I got the wings platter.

I’m new to this area and trying the various restaurants in the area. The 1/2 lb Western Burger was very good. The fries were delicious. The salad w honey mustard was ok. I’m not particularly fond of Dijon Mustard. The waitress was wonderful. Next time, I will try the wings.

I was visiting the Sneads Ferry, NC area and was looking for a nice local place for lunch. The wonderfully helpful front desk at my nearby hotel suggested Coastal Wing and Spirits so I walked to it. As usual, as asked I I could sit at the bar. The place is simply decorated, with many TVs and a variety of tables. I asked to see the menu, which features not only wings (in a variety of flavors and styles, but also burgers. I chose the simpler cheeseburger, which I asked to be served with tater tots. The burger was juicy, cooked at the right temperature, and the taters were hot and crispy. I also ordered a lager beer which was served icy cold. Overall, a great experience enhanced by a friendly bartender and the relaxed atmosphere. Highly recommended.

Carey was amazing!!!!!! She was super friendly!!! I Went this afternoon to have a few drinks and wings with my son and she took care of us. The drinks (Surf City Sunset) were made perfect. The wings with the dry rub were seasoned and cooked perfect. I definitely will be back there! Thank you Carey for your great and pleasant attitude.

Phenomenal service from (server)Miranda, who was more than willing to ask the kitchen questions before the order was placed to make sure everything was perfect for someone with allergies. Fried foods are done up in a soybean oil(double checked by a service dog for allergies and mobility work)… We got some local fan favorites… Their southwest egg rolls, fried pickles, and their Mac n cheese were on our menu tonight, and everything checked out perfectly with SD(service dog) Harley-the-Davidson on being 100% Nut-Free… Vegetarian options/substitutes are clearly listed as well as staff seems knowledgeable and are willing to ask when they aren’t. Totality being we went during a less busy day at a generally busy time for contributing factors and reasons; but, the staff is knowledgeable and will ask questions if they aren’t, are highly accommodating in the ways they can be, as well as will fix a situation if they can. I’m a nitpicker and a foodie but the pickles were moist while also crisp, and in no way soggy(over short time 10+ mins) which is a normal occurrence with fried pickles, personally IMO the sw egg rolls could’ve done with more filling but otherwise we’re perfect and the pairing sauce was perfect for them… unfortunately the downside is I expected more from the mac’n’cheese with the raving, but it was fairly bland but very good in my opinion compared to most mac’s.
