The Coastal Kitchen & Bar is by far one of the best surprises of hotel restaurants. The food was so delicious & very flavorful. The cocktail drink I had didn’t disappoint at all… I had the Porcini NY Strip (Med) with roasted potatoes. My cocktail drink was a Black Walnut Old Fashioned. Oh, and did I tell you how amazing and attentive my waitress Almaz was during my visit. If you want someone with class and a sweet personality, she’s definitely the one to ask for! I’ll definitely add this to my must haves list of fine dining in the future! Check it out

We were seated right away and the food arrived quickly. The Carolina burger tasted fantastic with rich flavors from the pimento and jalapeños. The patty leaned more pink than expected, yet it was still very enjoyable and full of flavor. Overall a great experience and a meal I would happily order again.

Lovely experience with great service from Almaz! She was very attentive the whole evening. Food was good, drinks were strong and overall an excellent night in at the hotel. Turkey club + pimento cheese, sweet potato waffle fries, and a Piedmont Gold Rush cocktail to wash it down.

My visit here started poorly but finished strong. I was eating by myself and went to the hostess table for a seat. Ultimately there were about 5 of us in queue for a seat. We stood there for a while and our number began to decline. After 10 minutes everyone else tapped out. I was finally seated shortly thereafter. The worst part was the bartender and several other folks saw us standing there but elected to do nothing despite the place not being busy at all.
Service build that was great. My burger was excellent, fries were crisp and fresh. My server was attentive and kept my drink refilled as I was parched from the wait.

Almaz was the kindness, most thoughtful + attentive server, I’m so happy I got to meet her! Highly recommend coming here for a meal if you are staying at this hotel. Every single person working here is wonderful, and the food is amazing. I got the chicken and rice soup, and it was the best soup I’ve had during my travels! I was shocked at how fast they were able to get my food/drinks to me, which was very nice after a long workday. Definitely coming here again when I travel back to the area!

Was recommended Coastal from my parents who are staying in the hotel, so we joined them for lunch. The She Crab soup is absolutely delicious and the presentation was nice. I tried a bite of the Poke bowl and it, too, was well prepared and yummy. Our server, Dominique, was a joy to interact with. He was prompt and put up with our silliness. Our orders were accurate, which was refreshing. Definitely a little gem next to the Convention Center.

I had a reservation for 10 tonight to celebrate two team members retirement. Almaz and Steve ensured that everything was perfect. They surprised us with a beautiful dessert at the end of an amazing meal. The atmosphere, service, and delicious food all made the evening extra special.
