My fiancé and I were early birds for dinner on a Sunday night. It had just rained, so we opted to sit in the dining room, but the outdoor terrace looked really nice with a view of the pond across the way. My fiancé enjoyed his coconut mojito and raw salmon trio appetizer, and I had the pear and arugula salad as a starter. The pears were fresh and sweet! I was glad that we ordered separate appetizers because they were on the smaller side. For my meal, I enjoyed the crusted chicken palliard, and my fiancé had the lobster seafood risotto, which is their signature dish. Overall, tasty, but we also thought the portion for the risotto could’ve been a bit bigger to match the price tag, or at least some bigger chunks of lobster. Desserts of the cheesecake and warm chocolate brownie were good. The server was attentive and accommodating.

Went there for my birthday dinner and it was magical! The outdoor seating on the terrace had flowers and a view of the pond. They have tons of parking so you don’t have to fight for a spot on the Ave. the watermelon salad, muscles, scallops, steak lobster risotto, shrimp po boy, shishito peppers and chicken paillard were all amazing. We shared lots of plates and the staff gave us desert with a candle. The cheesecake was outstanding.

Absolutely perfection. The chicken paillard will blow you away, while dining on their amazing waterfront patio. Lots of parking too!!!!

A great place to sit outdoors with friends, especially as the sun sets. The tempura shrimp appetizer was so fresh and crispy. Also loved the chicken dumplings and we fought over the Parmesan Brussels sprouts.
My friend had the burger and she raved about it. Will definitely go back! Service was very friendly and attentive too. And no parking hassle like on the Avenue.

We had terrible experience with this restaurant. Made reservation for Sunday brunch/lunch to celebrate my mom’s birthday. Upon arrival found restaurant closed. It was 2pm and I specifically asked about lunch menus being available. We had Guests with us and it was embarrassing moment to meet them by closed door. As we called to speak to the manager , they said that they tried to call us numerous times but couldn’t reach us. My phone record doesn’t show any calls from Coast. We used to like this place , but never again!!! Don’t ever make reservation with Coast. You will be in a whole bunch of embarrassment !

Bread: one slice served and shared between two people
Drink: margarita which tasted watered down
App: muscles which smelled like rotten fish. Sent back
Main: scallops tasted fine but were overcooked and a little chewy
Service: polite and sympathetic
Atmosphere: pleasant and relaxing but it wasn’t very busy on a Saturday night. Only 3 tables inside were being used.
Final thoughts: it felt like corners were being cut to make up for low headcount. Ingredients didn’t taste fresh, microwaved butter (half melted) was served with bread, old/possibly spoiled muscles were served, drinks poorly made/watered down, etc. The location is great and the interior is nice enough, so it’s a shame there were so many issues with the food.

It started well, but service was lacking. When one waiter tried to help, he got yelled at. Our meal was cold, and the portion was miniscule compared to other dishes. We sent it back, and it was still cold.
I saw people standing and waiting for a table, but no one acknowledged them. That was the first and last time I will eat there.

Coast is one of the best kept secrets of Greenwich. The fish is always the freshest I have found in town, not to mention roasted duck and several other wonderful entrees. It is quiet and has a warm and friendly atmosphere. If you haven’t been, you should try it. You won’t be disappointed.

While visiting family in Cos Cob, Coast seemed like a pleasant dining destination for an esrly dinner until I examined my bill two days after returning to my home state. The server had told me Coast was out of the clams linguine I’d ordered, but charged me for them anyway. It’s hard for me to imagine a seafood restaurant out of clams in the summer, followed by being charged for them. Disappointing!

Reminder: Check your bill before paying!

Did not eat here. We walked in and waited 5min for someone to greet us. There was no one in the restaurant besides a single table. When we were seated we waited another 10min for someone to bring a menu. It was clear they didn’t want us there by the staff’s looks and attitude so we left. There was no one around to even see us leave.
