The crab legs were well seasoned. The potatoes could have used some more time in the boil.
Oysters were good and the truffle fries were better than I remembered.
Excellent service.
I had all seafood/ sushi and my husband got steak. All our food was so delicious and perfectly prepared. I can’t say anything bad about this place. It was a little pricey but on point for a nice, special dinner out.
The first night we arrived, we walked up and were greated with a confused, unwelcoming look where we had to start the conversation of “table for 2, please”. The hostesses then told us we needed a reservation to dine in and then gave us no help of making one for another night or any information at all. So the next day we tried to make a reservation via phone and were greeted with an abrupt “it’s a full service” and again no further help.
The last hope was getting take-out, so we called in and asked to make a take-out order and the answer was “how big?”. So this was the experience with poorly trained and managed hostesses and waitresses.
Now to the food….. we paid >> $36 << for a dozen oysters which were basically clams???? Then the Brussels sprouts were sopping wet and soggy but did have good flavor. This is all we ordered... besides a crab bisque which was actually pretty good so no complaints there.
Overall, the extreme prices and poor quality as well as the unwelcoming staff really is a disappointing representation of the beach club.
Make the 20 minute drive and get some great service in the city, we enjoyed our experience out there much more.
