Overall, it was an OK experience.

The Duck Fat Fries were AMAZING!!! This is one thing that I would definitely recommend getting here! Hands down the best thing we had.

I ordered the old-fashioned burger, my wife got the smoked brisket dip sandwich, and we got the pasta for the kid.

My burger was decent, but nothing to write home about. The smoked brisket sandwich was good. The kids pasta was waaaaay overpriced at $10 for a little bowl of pasta and some grapes.

The biggest kink we had with our visit was the incredibly LONG time it took to get our food. We waited over 45 minutes for our food. There was practically no one in the restaurant, so that wasn’t the issue. It leads me to believe one of two things happened: either the waitress didn’t enter the order or the kitchen lost the order.

The waitress apologized and discounted our bill. I only mention it here in case it happens to someone else.

Casual Open- Space, family friendly restaurant located within Westhaven. While casual, the food ranges from pizza to fun appetizers to nice portion entrees and a reasonable wine list for the menu. Prices are also reasonable and portions are generous. Service is very attentive but not intrusive. All in all it is a lively neighborhood gem great for a spur of the moment dinner, a family celebration, or girls night out or date night!

When I found out the pizza wasn’t coal fired I was a little confused?? Glad we chose to stop in.

We had the calamari for starters. It wasn’t as tender as I prefer but, there wasn’t any left

I had the pepperoni pizza. I have to say it was a nice pie! Good flavor. Ricotta cheese was a nice touch. Nice undercarriage and some of the pepperoni was crispy!

My wife had the white pizza. It was good as well.

Ou daughter had the tenders and fries. Everything was fresh. The fries were the flat type but had nice crisp. The ranch was homemade and it came with a bowl of grapes.

The pizza was delicious. The restaurant is rather big and it seems even bigger with its big windows. Especially in the booths, it seems cozy.

Loved the outdoor seating here! Our service was great! Got an orange crush, refreshing. Steak frites, medium rare. All good, steak was cooked well. My wife got a variety. Fries, Brussel sprouts, and the focatia bread. Sprouts had way to much maple syrup. Rest was good. Great place to visit.

We had the Duck Fat Fries. They were nice. We didn’t appreciate the truffle aioli on them. We would not have this again. Next was the Pork Chop. It was perfectly cooked and had a nice flavor. The green beans were delicious. Lots of flavors to them. I had bread pudding and it had ice cream on top. The waiter said it would be 10 minutes as it was made fresh. Not true at all. It had no taste. Well except for old bread. There was no real flavor it was extremely dry. I only ate the ice cream. My husband had the cookie dough cheesecake. He said it was nice. We sat outside. It was very pleasant. Very expensive. $45 for a pork chop. We have never paid that much for a pork chop.

Elegant yet casual dining. Very cool atmosphere with open air seating (during good weather). Service was excellent. Tri tip steak sandwich was well seasoned and tasty. Duck fat fries were ridiculously good. Plenty of beers on tap and a full bar is available. I indulge in cheesecake often when it is offered. The cookie cheesecake for desert was the best cheesecake I have ever had. I highly recommend reservations.

Festive atmosphere, great decor, and great food! My husband has the double pork chop, which was amazing, full of flavor, and actually juicy! I had the shrimp and grits which was so good too (I have to try S&G whenever I see them on the menu).

Amazing venue! Large, open air feeling that holds a large amount of people yet feels not at all crowded. Huge bar, amazingly broad menu and top shelf service. The watermelon martini was great! Bourbon too! Shrimp kale salad and the steak were as good as my NY city best places!
