Had breakfast there this morning, only one waitress on duty and they were a little busy. Took forever to get our food. And personally, mine was cold. Others were missing items and all around poor food quality. Instead of making French toast, they use cinnamon raisin bread. Such a disappointment for quality. The best part was the waitresses ability to maintain her upbeat attitude and always helpful.

The Coal Bucket Deli is a nice place for breakfast. The staff was very welcoming. The food was very good. I had the biscuit and gravy special with eggs, bacon and coffee. My wife had the pancake special with 3 pancakes and bacon. Both meals were delicious and the proportions were just right. All this for less than 15.00 with tip.
If you are in the Tazewell, VA area, this is a great place to stop for a nice meal.

We loved everything about this restaurant! The service was excellent, the food delicious, sparkling clean ambiance, homemade, warm pastries on the counter & so much detail done well right down to the menu. Wish we lived closer so could go often. A plus in our book.

Chili was a chopped up burnt hamburger, The cheeseburgers were so dry I needed a pound of ketchup to make it edible, Staff coughed into HAND and didn’t sanitize, NO masks were worn, Staff was not knowledgeable about menu, They were out of every side we requested had to make substitutions.
McDonald’s would’ve been cheaper, safer ,and much tastier!!

They have been a staple to the Community for over 40 years and could use the Communities support if you would like them to stay in business. With their main source of Clientele , having been shut down, I fear they are not far off. It is quaint, friendly, and Small Town Goodness. Get it while you still can.
