First time there and LOVED it. Great atmosphere, great food and lots of choices. Staff was very friendly and made our visit enjoyable. Set on the edge of a golf course. Outdoor seating. Definite stop on our way to Galena next time. My new favorite. Wish they were closer to home.

Usually our local go to spot for casual family supper, but Father’s day was a disappointment. The shaved prime rib sandwich was good, and kids meal cheeseburgers were a hit, but lukewarm fries for both. However the “Chicken George” was 7 chicken “nuggets” that were not homemade. Very disappointing.

We went for the Friday fish fry. Loved that I could get broiled fish. Also enjoyed the soup. Only wish they had a small dessert offering. Scoop ice cream or pudding or a cookie.

Everyone was friendly. The food was delicious. The cod and catfish had great flavor. I’ve ordered amaretto stone sours at many places, all I ever taste is the orange juice. This bartender had the perfect proportions for it.
