Very good meal, food was great and service was great. 100$ for two entrees and two drinks which is pretty standard these days. Seemed to be a much older crowd like 50+ year olds. Go there for the food not really the vibes. Bar is big with a few TVs. Also the Christmas decor was still up a month after Christmas. All in all I do recommend. They host a lot of events as well.

My partner and I had a late evening appointment tonight and we decided to stop here after. I made a reservation but we didn’t need to as it definitely wasn’t busy.

Our waitress was Margarita and she was attentive but not overwhelming and took excellent care of us. I was very impressed by her service. We noticed that they had $60 meal deals on Thursdays and it had some impressive options- 1 app, 2 entrees, and 2 desserts.

We had the zucchini fries for an app. They were cooked well and I enjoyed them. Then we ordered the sole piccata and shrimp Alfredo. He liked his sole. I thought the shrimp Alfredo was just okay. The sauce was standard and there were only four shrimp, but I will say they were quite large. I’d have preferred if they had taken off the tails though.

For dessert I had the peanut butter explosion which was nice. Very decadent but still tasty. My only critique is that they served it with cool whip instead of whipped cream. Odd choice for a higher end restaurant. My partner ordered the lemon bar but the chocolate torte came out instead. We aren’t people that would send food back so he ate the torte- however Margarita noticed and gave us a lemon bar to go on the house for the mistake. It wasn’t necessary but very appreciated!

Overall I definitely recommend the Coachman’s Lodge. It’s a beautiful restaurant with a great ambiance and while the food isn’t perfect the staff and setting make up for it!

I had my wedding here last week and could not say enough great things. We had our ceremony, cocktail hour and reception here and it was stunning.

Our event planner Alanna was absolutely amazing and made us feel so relaxed and we knew we were in great hands. She is so organized and made us feel like we have known her forever and a truly genuine person who cares about your day.

Everything and everyone here is great and would recommend Alanna and team to plan your event. You will 100% not be disappointed.

We had such an amazing experience here! The food and drinks were on point — everything was flavorful, fresh, and absolutely delicious. Our guests are still talking about it days later! The drinks were creative and well-balanced, perfect for pairing with the dishes we tried. The staff were attentive, friendly, and made everything feel effortless, so we could just enjoy ourselves. The vibe of the place is inviting and lively, making it perfect for a group dinner or special night out. Honestly, it’s rare to find a spot where the food, drinks, and service all hit the mark, but this place nailed it. Everyone left happy and full, and I’ll definitely be coming back soon. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a memorable meal and a great time!

For many years, my husband and I and the rest of our family were devoted patrons of The Coachmen Lodge, particularly during the holiday season when gathering there with family felt like a cherished tradition. It was once a place that balanced warmth, generosity, and culinary consistency with admirable ease. Regrettably, that experience has diminished in recent years.

Since what appears to have been a change in ownership at some point, there has been a noticeable decline in both quality and value. Prices have increased, yet the thoughtful touches that once distinguished the holiday meals have quietly disappeared. A simple house salad, formerly included as part of the dining experience, was abruptly eliminated. When we inquired, we were told management/new ownership deemed it “wasteful,” as not many guests ate it. This explanation struck us as peculiar, given that for DECADES prior, the salad had been a longstanding component of the meal without issue. Moreover, the portion itself was modest—hardly an extravagance of lettuce and a single slice of cucumber.

The reasoning felt less like thoughtful stewardship and more like cost-cutting at the expense of tradition.

More concerning, however, is the decline in the food itself. The ham dinners, once reliably tender and flavorful, are now noticeably fatty, overly salty, and at times unpleasantly chewy. The portions during holidays (when they mark up their prices) have become markedly smaller, and the overall preparation lacks the care it once embodied. Even the accompanying vegetables and roasted potatoes seem heavier on indiscriminate seasoning rather than balanced flavor. What was once comforting and well-executed now feels inconsistent and diminished.

To their credit, the servers remain exceptional—attentive, gracious, and professional. Their efforts are evident and sincerely appreciated.

The atmosphere, while lively during holidays, can become overwhelmingly loud. Music is often played at a volume that forces guests to speak over it, creating unnecessary strain in what should be a convivial setting. A more subdued and refined approach to ambiance would greatly enhance the dining experience.

It is disappointing to witness a once-beloved establishment drift from the standards that made it special. Traditions matter, particularly in a restaurant that has long been woven into family celebrations.

Sadly, unless meaningful improvements are made, we have decided that our family will seek a new venue for future holiday gatherings.

We held our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception at Coachmen’s Lodge, and it was everything we dreamed of and more. The venue is absolutely stunning—elegant, warm, and surrounded by beautifully maintained grounds. The outdoor ceremony spaces are breathtaking, and knowing that they offer equally beautiful indoor options in case of rain gave us such peace of mind. No matter the weather, you’re guaranteed a gorgeous setting.

Alanna, the wedding coordinator, is a true gem. She’s not only organized and professional, but one of the most kind-hearted, genuine people I’ve met. She stayed in contact with all our vendors, was always quick to answer any questions, and made the entire process so smooth and stress-free. On the big day, she and her team made sure everything ran flawlessly—I felt calm, cared for, and truly beautiful.

The food and drinks were incredible—our guests are still talking about how delicious everything was! From the moment we arrived until the last song played, the Coachmen’s Lodge team exceeded every expectation.

If you’re looking for a venue with charm, professionalism, and a team that genuinely cares about your day, Coachmen’s Lodge is the one. They helped make our wedding absolutely unforgettable!

First time visiting. We had reservations and were seated right on time at six o’clock. Server was very attentive but never intrusive. I had her pick my drink for me based on a little input from me and she happily rose to the challenge.

For dinner I had the Baked Haddock plate and my wife had the Sea Scallops. Both were prepared to perfection and portions were more than enough.

For dessert our server brought a platter to show desserts rather than a menu. We don’t normally do dessert at the restaurant, but her presentation and descriptions convinced us to split the gluten free chocolate cake.

In all it was a great evening out with friends. Great food, great atmosphere, great service. We will be back.

Well – they had a bad day. Ordered the brick chicken and it took an hour and 45 minutes to show up undercooked. Manager stated the delay was because the first order was unacceptable – he should have come out and told us that when he ordered a new plate. You just can’t serve undercooked chicken – get a thermometer!!! They took it off the bill, comped a beer for my wife and I, and gave us a $20 gift card (probably should have been enough to cover an entree). Bartender was a sweet heart and clearly uncomfortable with her kitchen – of course we tipped her!! So upset as we have been here many times & never been disappointed.
