I came during the end of lunch and there were no other patrons. We ordered the Cuban and the High Hats. The Cuban is not a Cuban. It’s a Cuban that lost their identity and is confused about what they are. I know, I know. It was in the description of the sandwich on the menu. But come on. It could be at least put on a nice baguette bun or sliced bread and not a hamburger bun. The juice from all the pickles and the juices from the meats absolutely SOAKED the bread and it was kind of a soggy mess. The patty thing that they put in there is clearly some kind of frozen patty that was reheated. It was slightly chewy. Either way, it’s just not a Cuban.
The high hats are pretty small for what you pay. It’s two small croissants with some cold cuts, tomato, cheese and lettuce. It’s not worth the $1 4. Maybe that dish should be an appetizer?
The potato salad was also mid. It had pickles or something in it though that left a strong vinegar flavor that lingers on the palate.
The onion rings were good. It is honestly what saved this whole thing, I just wish there were more of them.
For drinks, we had the house water. I’m sure it was from their finest tap. It was quite tasty.
To the staff; this isn’t a personal attack. The waitress was friendly and attentive, but not overly attentive, which is nice. It’s just the lack of quality in the food and the exorbitant prices that make me not appreciate this place.
The staff were very welcoming and prompt, so no complaints there. As well as the restaurant being clean and decorated beautifully, the aesthetics are on point. The ambiance is overall relaxing but some of the music that was played was annoying and loud.
I can see how this place is probably well liked by many seniors in the area who don’t care much for flavor and enjoy a simple yet elegant dining experience, but for me personally it’s going to be a no.
We had a carryout order and nothing was left out of our order.
We intend to enjoy eating at Coach House for supper soon.
Thank you for a pleasurable meal!
I love this place. Everything was so lovely! From the little touches like a single fresh red rose on the table, to a beautiful warm fire blazing in the fireplace, you can immediately tell that the Coach House is going to be an amazing experience.
Our server was so gracious and explained the menu to us and the food was soooooo good.
I highly recommend the lobster Mac n cheese. It’s creamy, with plenty of fresh lobster throughout without it overwhelming the dish. And the crunchy breadcrumbs on top were seasoned perfectly. I will definitely be back!
