Me and my fiance went there one Friday December 5th for a dinner date (I wanted to take her to my favorite Mexican restaurant) and we were not disappointed. We were greeted with a friendly smile, and Eleni, our waitress was really sweet and helpful, and. Definitely deserves a raise. The food was excellent, and even better than it was when I went in March of this year which was already the best damn food on this planet so it was astronomically better than a 10/10 and I will definitely be eating there again. Please don’t forget to order the sopapillas for dessert

P. S. Forgot to take a. PIC of the sopapillas but you will not be disappointed.

If a non-Mexican thinks Mexican food isn’t good, it’s probably because they haven’t tried authentic Mexican cuisine. The rice was delicious, and I never imagined beans could taste so good. The portions were very generous, and the service was excellent. The server frequently came by to ask if we wanted more complimentary chips, and as I’m writing this review, I’m already missing the food. They also kept checking if we were enjoying the dishes and if we needed anything else. Every cocktail looked amazing, but since I was dining with kids, unfortunately, I didn’t get the chance to try them. I tried Mole sauce for the first time—it had such rich layers of flavor, from the first bite to the lingering aftertaste. Definitely worth trying!

We had a fantastic experience here! The food was delicious, fresh, and beautifully presented — every dish exceeded our expectations. What really made the evening special, though, was our server, Adriana. She was warm, attentive, and incredibly professional throughout the entire meal. She made sure everything was perfect without ever being intrusive and offered great recommendations as well. Her friendly attitude and genuine care really elevated our visit. Highly recommend this place — and if you can, ask for Adriana, she’s wonderful!

A perfect little spot for delicious Mexican food! We stopped by after a walk with Diego and instantly loved the cozy, colorful vibe — it smelled like spices, grilled tortillas, and good decisions.
We started with crispy tortilla chips and fresh guacamole — smooth, zesty, and just right. Honestly, I could’ve eaten a whole bowl of that guac by myself.
I ordered enchiladas and they were packed with flavor — warm, comforting, perfectly sauced, and nicely portioned.
To top it off, I had a glass of sangria — fruity, refreshing, and perfect for a summer afternoon.
Friendly service, great atmosphere, and super tasty food.
If you’re in Burlington and craving Mexican — COA is totally worth a stop.

⭐ 10/10 – would definitely come back (especially for the guac and sangria combo!).

I recently visited COA Mexican Eatery & Tequileria in Mount Vernon, and it was a fantastic experience! The food was excellent, with rich flavors and authentic dishes that truly stood out. The drinks were equally impressive, offering a great selection and perfectly balanced cocktails.

The ambiance was awesome—vibrant and lively, which added to the overall experience. It is a bit loud inside, but not so much that it ruins the conversation; we were still able to talk comfortably.

I’d highly recommend this spot to anyone looking for a great meal and a fun, welcoming atmosphere!

This place was impossibly good. I’m often let down somehow, just a little, when I visit restaurants that have high ratings above 4.5, but this place exceeded expectations.

We ordered several things, but the beans were the best beans I’ve had in my life, full stop. Creamy and flavorful and perfectly cooked, not a split bean in sight. I didn’t know beans could be this good, and I love beans and cook them often! I could come here and eat just those and some rice and leave happy, but in addition to the beans, the margarita was top notch, the chips were fresh and crisp, the pork and chorizo dish I ordered was tender and flavorful and not overly fatty or greasy, and the poblano cream sauce on my spouse’s enchiladas was unreal – so, so, good, you could put it on a piece of cardboard and I would eat it.

Besides great food, the restaurant was beautifully decorated, comfortable and clean, and the service was warm and friendly. It’s been a while since we’ve been anywhere that impressed us from start to finish, but this place really did. It’s too bad we don’t live that close, but we will absolutely travel an hour just to eat here again. 10/10.

COA Mexican Eatery has officially become THAT spot for me. This was my fourth visit and once again they delivered with fast, friendly service that makes you feel like they’ve been waiting just for you.

The chips and salsa come out perfectly warm, the kind of warm that makes you pause mid conversation because you need a moment with your basket. I always order the trio of enchiladas, and let me tell you… that green sauce is absolutely amazing. Rich, bright, and full of flavor without being overwhelming. They have never missed.
And the flan? To. Die. For. Silky, sweet, and the perfect ending bite. I’ve never had a bad item here, just consistently excellent food that keeps me coming back.

If you’re thinking about going, stop thinking and just go. COA is the spot!
