Great location for groups. I enjoyed several appetizers including queso fundido and guacamole. Both were well seasoned and irresistible. My main entree was the pollo tampiqueño, which was very flavorful and perfectly portioned. I enjoyed being able to have the experience of all of the veggies and enchilada. Lastly, I really liked the smoked margarita.

Food here was amazing!! My fiance said his tacos were in the top ten of tacos he’s ever had! I had the poblano mole and it was definitely the best mole I’ve ever had. The cocktails were also wonderful and very well crafted. Our server was so sweet and super helpful even when we asked for a complicated bill split. Definitely recommend!

One of my favorite Mexican restaurants. The restaurant is dark with candles lit on every table, giving it a romantic vibe. The food and drinks were excellent. I got the Mango Margarita Fresa. It was delicious, well balanced and not too sweet, came with a Tajin rim. For appetizers we got the cevice which came with chips and salsa. It all tasted really nice and fresh. We got some small plates to share, including the Mole Poblano, crab empanadas, and tacos de pancita. Best mole and emapanadas I’ve ever had. The mole was rich and deep in flavor and turned me into a quail fan. The empanadas were nice and crispy, filled with lump crab and cheese, and served with an avocado mousse. The pork belly in the tacos were good but I wasn’t a fan of the adobo glaze, it tasted like ketchup/bbq sauce. Overall, it was a great dining experience and I’m excited to come back again!

I went here for a team dinner for work. The room was a bit dark but the atmosphere was amazing. The staff is very professional, they helped us in understanding the foos and spice level. The food was really good and I would suggest trying them out for something new and exciting

The Sopas de barbacoa were served with the best masa rounds I’ve ever had. Great atmosphere with well mixed (sometimes spicy) drinks.

COA in Columbia is hands down one of our favorite date-night spots. It’s a more upscale Mexican restaurant downtown in the Vista, and it feels like a step up the second you walk in. The atmosphere is lively but still polished, with a great layout and a bar that makes you want to hang out for a while.

My wife and I have been here countless times, and the quality is consistently amazing. The food feels elevated and thoughtfully done, and the menu goes well beyond the usual basics. Everything we’ve tried has been fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. It’s one of those places where you can come back over and over and still find new favorites.

The drinks are another big reason we keep coming back. Their margaritas are excellent, and if you like tequila or mezcal, you’re in the right place.

Jay, one of the bartenders, deserves a special shoutout. He’s a huge reason we return. He’s friendly, on top of it, always has great recommendations, and he genuinely makes the experience better every time we’re there. Plus, he really does make a mean margarita.

If you want a place that feels a little special without being stuffy, COA is absolutely worth it. Great food, great drinks, and a perfect spot for a date night or a night out with friends.

Didn’t feel welcome by the bartender, Both nights. Food was good but not great. Very little fish in the ceviche. Skirt Steak was under temp., chewy. Everything was seasoned nicely though. Fried Yucca was good. Cocktail was good. Mezcal selection is very nice for this area.

The atmosphere was lovely, but a bit too dark where we were seated. The grilled shrimp tacos were delicious. The bar is amazing, they offer a wide selection of mixed drinks. Margaritas were a big hit with our party.

Such a beautiful restaurant! The crab empanadas were so very disappointing! We were so looking forward to trying this small plate. However, there was NO crab in this small fried pie!!! The queso fundito with wild mushrooms was great! Chips and homemade salsa was delicious and the drinks made by the senior USC college student were good! He was a gem of a bartender!!
