We stoped here for lunch during a chateau drive through the Médoc area. We had fresh summer rolls, fried pork spring rolls, chicken salad for starters. The summer rolls were good. The fried spring rolls were. Or as delicately crispy as I had hoped. The chicken salad was ok — the dressing tasted identical to the dipping sauce for the rolls. For entrees, we had seafood caldron, duck breast and a beef satay fried pork salad. I’d say all the entrees were ok. Nothing wrong with them but also no wow. The beef entree seemed to have same dressing as the dipping sauce again. The service was friendly. The restaurant is clean and pleasant.

This place is wonderful. The food is very good, but more than that, the family that runs this place is super nice. The gentleman that I spoke to speaks very good english. Additionally he let me try his own homemade liquor. It’s something like a flavored armagnac. Bananas and peaches. So good! I would definitely buy a bottle to take home, but alas, he doesn’t have any to sell. I would love to come back to this place when I get the chance.

We ate there during our holiday and it was delicious!!
Very cute and friendly couple who make everything themselves. She cooks and he makes his own digestifs.
Everything is fresh made!
It was so good we came back a second time.
We loved it here and would definitely recommend it to anyone

Now, I don’t have to fly to Vietnam to enjoy their food.
The owner was super nice.

Hidden gem! For the value Co Ba matches the quality of some of the best in Sydney. Fei Fei’s review is a delusion of grandeur (unfortunately).

Super little restaurant Vietnamese in Pauillac, with authentic home cooked dishes and impeccable service. We stayed for a long lunch, enjoyed the Nems for entree, and for mains had Beef Satay, Peacock nest, Fisherman’s Cauldron, Flamed Scallops. I would come pack any day. Pierre, the restauranteer, is super hospitable.

Arrived Pauillac en bateau and spent day sightseeing so we were hungry. Co BA was open and a delightful surprise. Warm ‘mine host’ and interesting menu and simple wine list. Excellent and tasty food and wine at very reasonable price. Well done!!!

We ate here for dinner and it was great! Very kind and welcoming owner who does speak English. No English menus so we took our time ordering. We were able to translate the menu items using our phones. Everything we ordered was delicious! Recommend

Visited this gem on the day of the marathon when all other places seemed stressed and unprepared for the crowds (got coffee served in a cracked plastic cup which ended all over me). Decided to move from the busy area and chose Coba for lunch. Wonderful tasty food and kind and attentive owner who didn’t charge me for coffee. Highly recommended.
