As a Korean living in the U.S., this is the best fried chicken I’ve had here!!! It was totally worth driving an hour to eat here. The staff are also incredibly kind and friendly. You absolutely have to try it. No matter what you order, you’ll be satisfied! ❣️

Food was quick and affordable! And most importantly delicious! Cheese monster fries weren’t secretly sweet and perfectly fried. Chicken dumplings had plenty of meat and flavor, and the outside was bubbly and crispy! I had the spicy garlic sandwich and it was a huge portion. The spice crept up the way it ought to, but not at the cost of flavor. Chicken bulgoki was the same, very hot but not in a way that felt like acid. 10/10!!!

This week I had the opportunity to visit CM’s Broad Ripple location on 62nd Street. It’s smaller than the Fishers spot and serves the Broad Ripple area with takeout service; though they do have five stools inside and three tables outside if you want to chow down immediately.
Accompanied by my oldest son, I met with Zach, their Marketing and Franchise Director. We talked about their menu and people’s hesitation to order items they aren’t familiar with, or can’t pronounce. He toured us through the menu and answered all of our questions.
Here is what we tried:
Tempura Sweet Onion Fries
Mozzarella Cheese Balls
Kimchi Fried Rice
Garlic Spicy Original Fried Chicken (Tenders)
Golden Curry KKU-i (Bone-In)
Milkis Korean Cream Soda
Let it be known that, when it comes to chicken, my preference is crispy breading and plenty of sauce. This chicken had lots of both!
The Garlic Spicy tenders were HUGE. Two would’ve filled me up. The chicken was good quality with no mushy or stringy pieces. It was incredibly juicy on the inside. The sauce had a low glow with a hint of aniseed.
The Golden Curry KKU-i was just as crunchy and saucy. Try these if you prefer bone-in wings. My son liked the Golden Curry sauce better, but preferred the chicken of the tenders.
The Tempura Sweet Onion Fries were a pile of fried onions with a delicious soy-based dipping sauce. They were a great complement to the chicken. The Mozzarella Cheese Balls had a sweet outer layer with melty cheese inside. Somehow they were simultaneously crispy and chewy.
The Kimchi Fried Rice was made right before our eyes and came out piping hot. While it captured the traditional flavors of the dish, I would’ve preferred it fried in an actual wok.
The Milkis Cream Soda was . . . interesting. In the Melon flavor I thought it tasted like TV static and wet Skittles. But my kids tell me that Korean snacks are all the rage!
The weather was perfect so we ate outside at a two-top table. People walking by were so curious about our meal that they would stop and ask about it. I think people are trepidatious to try Korean Fried Chicken because it’s new and unknown. But there’s good news— it’s just chicken!
Now, let’s talk value. Any Korean Fried Chicken I’ve had has been somewhat expensive. But you do get plenty of chicken (we had lots of leftovers). Thankfully CM Chicken offers some killer lunch specials that won’t break the bank.
For $11.99 you can get a 3pc wing or tender meal with fries. And remember that these tenders are huge. Or you could get a chicken sandwich & fries. Either would be an excellent way to introduce yourself to Korean Fried Chicken.
And if you want to save even more money, they will knock 10% off your bill for a Google review.
So give it a try! Get used to saying new words like “Mep Snow” and “KKU-i”. You’ll be rewarded with a delicious new take on an old classic.

The food was delicious and the portions were great for three people. We got half garlic soy and half honey garlic chicken and it tasted great. My favorite was the tteokbokki, especially when you add the cheese on top. My friend ordered the tender and she said that she really enjoyed it.

Crunchy bites of salivating goodness. As I bit down on this crunchy fried carcas every bite reverberated thru my head like a xylophone playing in the base of my skull..
Each tender morsel coated in this spicy and sweet mesmerizing sauce alived my taste buds and drool began flowing as if I were a polar bear eating and knawing its prey.
Each piece of this delicious fried chiclen just got better and better, a bit more heat from each bite. Shuffling back and forth from the spicy garlic to the honey was a fantastic combination.
Two half orders gone in the blink of an eye, and all that was left were little nibbles of the crunchy goodness, bones, and a pile of napkins and wipes(provided). Sauce was everywhere like a scene from Dexter.
Awesome place for some of the best Korean style fired chicken I’ve had.
Come and take a look, order up, and sit in the windows to watch the caravan of cars picking up to go orders and just take a moment to realize what gift was just placed before you whole you enjoy it.

All I can say is, YUM I got the seasoned curry tenders and my husband got hot garlic. We got some sides, too. I forgot which but they were really good as well. I also got one of the Korean drinks. Seriously some of the best chicken in the city and I’m also glad it’s KFC a bit of a distance from me, otherwise I’d spend all my money here. The front counter guy was equally cool and pleasant, too. I like the aesthetic but I wouldn’t mind actual dining space. It’s really good and definitely an experience. 10/5 stars the food will be gone before you can even take a picture!

I saw this place on Instagram a while ago and happened to be in Indianapolis for a baby shower. I’m glad I decided to DoorDash this. The garlic soy fried chicken was so good. Crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside. Lots of flavor. And the drumsticks were big so it was filling. I also had the rose tteokbokki. Solid. The rice cakes were the perfect texture and size. I paid an arm and a leg thanks to DoorDash, though. So that hurt my pockets but at least the food was good. lol
