Tonight was my first time walking around downtown Westerly. I choose this place because it seemed more simple and down home than the rest of the places (of course which I prefer). I ordered my wine and wasn’t there for five minutes when a man began swearing and yelling on his phone. Only a boy scout would really be offended by swearing but this guy was overly theatrical and begging for attention. He wouldn’t stop. The tender was young and female and I can’t blame her for not wanting to step in. I left without finishing my drink. Behavior such as this should be cut off right away and not tolerated. This incident made me think twice about not choosing the more expensive choices for a drink.

Staff is nice, people seem nice. 1 pool table, no music playing. Lots of old people. Cash only, have an atm though. Looks like they might have live music based off the random drum set in the corner. Probably won’t go here again. Changed the rating based off their response from a 2 to a one. Re arranged Dive because the older people aren’t what makes it a dive. It looks like a Dive.

Months in weird positions, and no driving! BUT now I can see again! And I cannot wait to drop into Clydesdale Tavern again soon. Sorry I missed the Halloween Party: but I see BANDS are BOOKED for the upcoming Season!! Great camaraderie and neighborhood “Good Feel” atmosphere. Rose is an Excellent Proprietress and Person. Her Nephew, a Fine Bartender. See you folks sometime soon!!!!

Mixed group of patrons, so you’ll definately make friends quickly. Great for live entertainment, even when there is no band! Seriously, A+ live music with a fun and enthusiastic crowd. The bartenders are attentive and a good selection. Lots of fun games, fun people, and the entertainment is primo!
