Clydes.. this is a very straightforward place. They do burgers, steaks, some limited pasta, some Mexican fare. They do it very well. Waite staff has been exceptional all 7 times I’ve been in. Verde sauce is warm. Call ahead if you want that. Cheesecake…ohhh my triple chocolate!

It’s definitely worth the fourteen dollars for a burger! They were so good. I think we ate our burgers in less than five minutes!

Edit: Came here again, and the food was immaculate! We tried their French dip with onion rings and their Mexican fries. Their onion rings were so crunchy! I have never had a food that I woofed the entire plate down, and it was supposed to be my husband’s. Overall 10 out of 10!

The service was alright, although the server never asked anyone in my group if they needed a box to go. She was on top of getting everyone refills. Unfortunately, the food was very poor. I ordered the smokehouse Mac and cheese and when it came out I could already tell it was not going to be good, mushy noodles, the cheese sauce was grainy, and I found two hairs in it. My husband ordered the French dip and said he did not like it. I took a look at it and there was hardly any meat in it which is disappointing for their prices.

We’ve come here 4-5 times. The food, the service, the pricing have been outstanding each time. It was fun learning that everything is made from scratch, even the desserts from local products and farms. The cheesecake made by Heide is TO DIE FOR! It looks like many of their one star reviews came at a time when they were transitioning from a Mexican Restaurant to what it is today.

3 of us had dinner on Mother’s day.
Food was great for all of us.
They may have been short on servers, but it wasn’t super busy when we went in the evening.
Staff was very friendly, example: helping tables that wasn’t theirs.
We’ll definitely come again.

I met my aunt for lunch and we had a nice time! It was clean, friendly service and REALLY good food! The flavor of the French dip was great- the meat was tender and the bread was soft and delicious! I ended up using all of the au jus, and asked for more with no issue or upcharge. I can’t wait to go back!

We ate lunch here on 12/20/23. There were only 3 other cars in the parking lot when we arrived, that should have been our first clue.

I ordered the French Dip sandwich. The description in the menu said: “French Dip sandwich piled high with tender slices of roast beef.” The sliced roast beef did not even cover the entire bun and was maybe 2 layers. There was a dribble of cheese added. The bun was nothing special, the beef was tough and gristly. There as nothing “smokehouse” about the flavor. The flavor was average French Dip sandwich at best. The au jus was about 2 ounces in the bottom of a soup cup – woefully deficient to dip every bite.

The onion rings were plentiful. Again, these were nothing special and a bit soggy. They tasted oily and lacked flavor and salt. Apparently, the idea is to fill up on the “side.” This was NOT worth nearly $15.

My husband ordered a hamburger – it was about the size of a cheese burger at McDonalds (not the quarter pounder, the small one). He said it was absolutely NOTHING special.

This was our first visit to Clydes – we won’t be going back

If you want to attract a customer base, you have to give them bang for the buck. You need to give them a restaurant portion for the prices you are charging.

The atmosphere is weird, it still looks like the inside of a Mexican restaurant.

The food was not good at all. Very generic and tasted like microwaved food. My beer cheese soup was lukewarm and lumpy. Service was very good. Our waitress was awesome. Would not recommend at all.

Staff was friendly and attentive, although we were the first guests in for Sunday lunch.

The reuben was delicious. My wife had the pulled pork sandwich and onion rings, both of which were awesome.

We’ll be back.
