Love how they were open late (kitchen open until midnight) and offer delicious food options. I was very pleasantly surprised by the crab and artichoke dip- definitely recommend. We also order the burger that was yummy, and the fries were delicious. The vibe was chill too.

Sure, it’s load and cold, but it s a large solid place to meet up with multiple generations of families, friends, and get brunch or lunch or dinner. Or drinks. I enjoyed my breakfast sandwich which was the size of a entire meal! And it’s connected to then movie theater and mall at Gallery Place. There is an elevator.

We visited Washington DC to meet with family members so they invited us to have late lunch at Clyde’s. We were seated in beautiful table surrounded by elegant decorations. The food was really delicious and well cooked in high quality. Thanks for our helpful waiter Tram; she was active and prompt in quick service as we had to catch evening train heading back to NYC. Highly recommended restaurant located in downtown but best to book in advance as always crowded.

First time visitor. Loved the food. Soul food feel. Had fried chicken(mumbo sauce), Mac and green beans w/bacon and tomato pieces. Wife had shrimp Alfredo. Delicious. Services was great,the classic decor that adorns the walls and shelves was beautiful. A little crowded area, but worth the trip.

I am big on service. Ours was not great. The food was just, meh! I had a Caesar salad and chili, which were both mediocre. The fries and the Reuben sandwich were satisfactory. We ate there before a concert and they played music from the artist we were going to see, but it was so loud.

A very disappointing experience overall. I’ve always liked Clyde’s and was looking forward to a nice dinner. The service was nonexistent. As you can see in the photo, it’s not like it was packed. We still hadn’t gotten our drinks when our meals came. We pointed that out to the runner and asked him to find our waiter, and still no drinks until we were halfway done with our dinners. We barely saw our waiter twice in the time we were there. We also didn’t feel at all welcomed or appreciated by any staff members we encountered.

Food was okay. Service was lackluster. Had to ask for refills. Waitress wa Not attentive. Food was was tasteless. Really dissatisfied. This was not what I remember pre Covid. Hope they get back to the standards they had a few years ago.
