This place really hit the spot. Was craving some buffalo chicken winga and they delivered. My partner ordered a pasta and it was pretty good as well – had a good kick. Only complaint was the sauce was a bit watery and the prices here are outrageous.

It’s also unclear what the seating situation was here. Nobody greated us, so we just sat at the bar.

Came here for my office holiday dinner. The atmosphere was lively, the drinks were great and the food was tasty. It was a great night. The staff here were so friendly and the food came out quickly. I’d definitely recommend checking out this place for a date night, group gathering or just a spot to get a drink.

Clydes Gallery Place is our go to place for comfort food. Their food is predictably good and the service is alway great. My favorite thing to eat their is their roasted turkey sandwich, fries and a side of coleslaw. I always add avocado and jalapenos and it always hits the spot. I have had most things on the menu in the many times I have visited since 2005 when they opened this location. Be sure to finish off your meal with their famous Bread Pudding. The change the flavor from time to time and we love every one of them! It is a short walk from the Chinese Gate on 7th and H.

Great historical bar with late night happy hour. Nice clean bathrooms. Enjoyed chili for a starter which was sweet then the fried duck and trout meals. Many reasonably priced options considering it’s in DCans such a beautiful plac $20-40 each. Beautiful holiday decor. Went on a Friday evening around 7pm. Definitely check out the whole place and bars.

Situated in the Penn Quarter neighborhood, this vibrant restaurant boasts an electric American menu, beautiful decor, and a lovely atmosphere. With ample seating for both dining and bar experiences, it is conveniently located near the Capital One Arena and within walking distance of the National Portrait Gallery. The food is of high quality, with tender steak and crab cakes packed with lump crabmeat. The waitstaff provides excellent service, and the decor is noteworthy. Whether opting for a casual burger and drink at the bar or a fine dining experience with steak at a white tablecloth table, this establishment is a must-try for those in the DC area.

Had an excellent experience at Clyde’s. The atmosphere was great. Our group could carry on a conversation and hear each other no problem at all. The food was amazing as well as the service! Will definitely return!

We spent the day touristic and wanted a good meal for dinner. Clyde’s was near a tour bus stop so we checked it out. Service was excellent! We ordered two entrees: fish & chips and a turkey sandwich with Caesar salad. Both were good but save room for dessert because the apple tartlet is is extra good and the pumpkin cheesecake is amazing! Desserts are on the Fall menu.

BEAUTIFUL!

What an incredible restaurant. It’s like Cheers on steroids and everyone will know your name. Incredible ornate, dark wood with carpet and an upstairs. There are three bars, but it’s NOT A SPORTS BAR. There were lots of business men and women having dinners there in addition to our group.

I had the hot honey chicken sandwich and it was delicious. Incredible flavoring and fresh ingredients. I had a side salad and Mac n cheese. The Mac n cheese wasn’t great but a friend gave me some of the bacon cheddar grits and they were incredible!!

Highly recommend this place.

I was very disappointed with the food at Clyde’s Gallery Place. The taste was almost as poor as the presentation. The buffalo wings were a particular letdown, indicating a real lack of effort in the kitchen.

The service was okay—it was a bit slow, which is expected given the crowd, but the staff was generally friendly and helpful.

However, the atmosphere is intense. The venue is massive, boasting three different bars, and the crowd is loud and wild. This is definitely a spot if you are looking to party and be social on a night out with a large crew. I absolutely do not recommend this for a date night, family dinner, or a solo outing. The chaotic environment completely overshadows the dining experience.
