Friendly staff but the food was meh. Someone else recommended this place and I decided to give it a try. Probably will be my first and last time coming to this place. Ordered the two piece dark meat chicken and a side of cole slaw. The chicken was crispy but it was not marinated. They cut through the chicken thigh to make sure it’s uncooked, but unfortunately it’s not. The cole slaw looks like vomit which I throw it straight to the trash. In terms of fried chicken, Popeyes is better.

Haven’t been to a Cluck U spot in 15 years. Decided to stop at the Odenton location for some 911 wings and they didn’t disappoint. Now, I don’t think they’re as hot as they were back then but they were hot and good! Oh and the staff was friendly too!

Cluck U has been my favorite wing place for over 20 years. This location is a takeout place, so doesn’t have the greatest ambience, but the wings are best if you eat them fresh, so I eat there occasionally.

I used to go to Cluck-U when I was on the road for work. A co-worker introduced me to it in 2010, and over the next 5 years I would periodically stop and grab lunch whenever I was in the area of one. There was a location in Annapolis, and one I think in Edgwater at a BP gas station. But both those places have been closed for a long time. The other place that I would go was this location, in Odenton, across from Forte Meade. So recently I got a craving, and I decided to make the trip. Now I’ve probably only been to Cluck-U maybe 15-20 times. It’s probably been 10 years since I’ve been there. And I always get the same thing: the boneless buffalo wings (which are really just chicken tenders with sauce) and an order of honey bees. And let me tell you, they were just as good this time as the last time that I had them. I just really like the way that they prepare the chicken, the size of the chicken, how long they cook the chicken, the flavor of the sauce (I prefer the mild barbeque), and the quantity of the sauce that they give you. I’m somewhat of a chicken/wing/bbq critic, and these pass the test. I just can’t get enough of them. And the honey bees were just as good and fresh as I remember them. The food was an A+.
Now the ambience of the store isn’t going to win any awards. It is what it is. It looks just like it did the last time I was there a decade ago, except the corny Cluck-U artwork that’s on the walls has faded due to time. And frankly the overall smell of the store isn’t the best. And the TV wasn’t even on. And nobody was inside eating. But I didn’t go there to eat inside, or watch TV, or smells the smells. I went there to get the chicken that I remember being so good, and it was still good, and I’m glad that I went.

Huge disappointment! Walked in, and the cashier seemed bothered to help us. As we are looking at the menu (our first time eating here), he seemed to be in a rush to get our order. The fries were good, but the chicken wings (which they are known for) were horrible. It was like chewing on a rubber ball. First and last time walking through those doors.

Like why is there so much sauce on my wrap? Very disappointing to be the first time in 10 years!

We came because our friend wanted to try the hot wings challenge. Yes, you have to sign a waiver. He dropped out after the third wing, which was actually very impressive because I tried them, took one bite and that was enough for me. My order of the considerably less spicy wings were reasonably good but swamped in sauce. Almost felt like I was eating a stew. The sides were just ok. Staff was terrific and the posters were suitably amusing. Bathroom looked clean but smelled pretty bad. Maybe it’s from customers losing it after eating too spicy in too short a time?

Dirty restaurant with chairs on top of the tables, basically they don’t want you to dine in. Paid over $150 for Super Bowl wings that were overcooked and dry, literally no one at my Super Bowl party went for seconds and guest even complained the wings were to dry. We used to go to the college park location until they closed and have been going to this location for the last few years with no problems but this time was horrible and even horrible customer service. The kitchen staff were even talking bad about customers trying to pick up their orders 15 minutes early. Save your money and try somewhere else, we will not return to cluck u anymore, unfortunately.

The chicken is fantastic, the portioning is amazing for $15 you get 5 tenders and a pile of fries (image 1). Lemon pepper is so good on the tenders. However the restaurant was cold while I was in there

I’ve been a fan of cluck u since my teens. The chicken quality its self was not as good this time around. Chicken skin was chewy. Can’t says it’s the cooks fault, might be the chicken supplier.
Sugar bees were good as usual.
