Best place to go in Ely by far ! We were there for one night and clearly it was the best night of our trip ! You’ll really feel in America in all her wonders ! Karaoke and incredible ambiance ! What a great time I had at this little gem of a bar in Ely Nevada. There was a three man band playing live music on one of the saturday nights when I was in there. They were awesome. I got to play some pool games and do a little dancing too. And after a few cocktails I could walk back to my motel avioding any drinking and driving. How nice is the Club Rio in Ely Nv. Real nice.

Waited at bar for at least five minutes to see if anybody was actually working there. Place was empty. Finally an old lady comes shuffling in. Doesn’t say hello, doesn’t acknowledge me. Her phone rings and she answers is and then stands there and talks to the person. I got up and left. Weird vibe. Not friendly at all.

So after leaving the casino down the street I decided to stop in to this bar that had a sign out front that read “hunters welcome”. That seemed like a friendly indication so I went in, intending to have a beer. Not another soul in the place except the bartender and a middle aged lady who is probably the proprietor. At 8:30 on a Friday night. I asked what they had on tap. “We got nothin’ on tap.” “Well then I guess I will have a bourbon and soda.” The proprietor says “we don’t have any club soda.” “Well,” I said, “never mind then.”
It’s a real conundrum why they didn’t have any customers.

The funnest club I’ve been to in a long time. Cari is awesome and always keeps you laughing with her stories and rhymes. We always feel like we’re at home when we’re there and make it a point to go there anytime we are able. Club Rio rocks!

Love this place it’s the greatest. the owners and friends of mine Kerry and John are great host they provide their patrons with live music and karaoke weekly. Highly recommend you stop in and have a beer.

I was in a band that came from Milwaukee to play there, and we were treated like The Beatles. There wasn’t a single person there that was anything less than wonderful. I live in Chicago and wish I could bring everyone here to open a Club Rio here.
