Club Phoenix II. absolutely knocked it out of the park. From the moment we sat down, the experience was top-notch, thanks in large part to our waitress, Mary, who delivered truly amazing customer service. She was attentive, friendly, and kept everything running smoothly even with a busy table—exactly what great service should look like.
The food was outstanding. The pork chops were exceptional—perfectly cooked, juicy, and full of flavor—and the porterhouse steak was nothing short of excellent, cooked just right and clearly high quality. What really impressed us was that our table ordered a wide variety of dishes, and every single plate came out hot, fresh, and very well prepared. No shortcuts, no cold food, no waiting around.
It’s not easy to execute that level of consistency across multiple meals, but Club Phoenix II delivered on all fronts. Great food, great service, and a welcoming atmosphere. We’ll absolutely be back—and we’ll be asking for Mary again. Highly recommended. ️

Lady was very friendly. She seemed to be operating the place herself. Plenty of seating– 5 or so booths and lots of tables. There is also a bar but it looked a little cluttered as it was a workspace. The decorations were like I was in grandma and grandpa’s family room. The lighting was a bit strange.
Ribeye was seasoned and cooked very nicely.
The Supreme Pizza tasted quite “porky” but I would have to order a pizza without sausage to know if that was what the weird taste was. I would try other options on the menu.

Oh my greatness does this place rocks! The portions are HUGE, as in have enough left over for lunch the next day. The ribs fall apart, juicy, and no bones. The bacon cheese burger was huge and the bacon hung over the bun a good inch and a half on both sides. I have never had frog legs. I tried them because hey you only live once. They are deep fried and have a good crunch to the batter. Everything was hot even though I stopped and talked awhile to folks I haven’t seen for months. Their stakes were HUGE also. I do not understand why more folks do not eat here. I guess it is Bartonville’s best kept secret! The prices are low if you have been to a store lately to know.

I would say this is one of the best steaks in the area. Very flavorful. Comes with side salad and potato. Only negative is hardvto figure out where to enter.

The place is a hidden gem of Bartonville, IL. We had to ribeye, porterhouse, with bake potatoes and side salad. For the appetizer, we had fried cauliflower.

Had dinner here tonight. Ordered the Walleye. Worst fish I’ve ever had. It was almost all crust, couldn’t find much meat was very greasy. The waitress didn’t know Catfish from the walleye. Husband had Catfish, while it looked better he said it was mushy. Not done. Won’t be back!!

Going through the area and stumbled upon this place!! It was so so good! And you don’t go away hungry! Our waitress Julie was awesome, friendly and funny! We had the Walleye and bacon cheese burger that was at least a 1/2 pound burger!

Love this place! Keep in mind it is a small family run business so the best time is not rush hour. Steaks are cooked perfectly every time, service is friendly and prices are amazing for the quality and quantity! Will definitely be visiting again!
