Not a Cuban. Well, Not a good Cuban.
The restaurant has been chosen by their customers as a top choice for Brunch and Sandwiches. Recognition from the Democrat Gazette 2024, for best in the “River Valley,” is proudly on display at the front counter. I cannot argue with that. But what I will say is their “Cuban Sandwich” needs help. Before I wander down the rabbit hole with a descriptive analysis of the sandwich, let me get the salad out of the way. My wife ordered the small Cobb Salad. Decent, fresh, no complaints.
I have eaten a few Cuban sandwiches. One of my favorites. A bait that will lure me into any deli. There are minimum requirements. A Cuban must have mustard! A liberal dousing of YELLOW mustard. An essential condiment. Without it, it is nothing more than a bland pork sandwich. No bright yellow stain to be found between the ciabatta. It did have a little deli mustard. Not a suitable substitute. At the counter, the very nice young lady gave me a couple of packets of plain yellow mustard. Needs more, but this is a start. Between the bread, lots of meat; ham, pulled roast pork, and pickles. The roast pork was a little dry. First bite; something does not taste quite right. An unmistakable old grease flavor on the ciabatta. My best guess as to the cause; the panini press needs a good cleaning.
It is a nice, attractive deli, with great service. Order something other than a Cuban Sandwich and something that is not pressed.

Stopped here during a trip. Great food, both sandwiches were delicious. Chips and soup were perfect sides. Great staff. Highly recommend this place.

The food was old and not very warm on the buffet. And the counter person acted like it was an inconvenience to make a sandwich for my husband instead of the brunch buffet. The sandwich was decent but the chips were just ok, no salt on them. We paid almost 50$ for one buffet, a grilled cheese with bacon and jalapenos and one drink. Additionally there was no one manning the meat cutting station and the meat looks like it had been sitting there for days. And the avocado toast had been there so long the color was brown.

11/1 Whoever the little short green haired girl is was looking and talking about my family! I have a child. And I don’t appreciate having to explain why a jealous woman was talking about my family and being rude to us. Then we could hear the girl laughing about us from around the corner. We paid 80 dollars for my sisters birthday to eat here and we did not appreciate the way we were treated . I never was asked if I wanted another glass of orange juice. So I sat there glass empty most of my meal. Place is lacking professional service. Hell it’s lacking service in general. Maybe get nice employees that don’t act like they hate their life? Or some that know how to work in the service industry correctly. Don’t go here. Not worth it at all

Very bad service. We weren’t greeted and were confused on where we order or if we should seat ourselves. They asked if we were there for “the brunch” and we unknowingly said yes because it was around that time. It turned out to be a buffet which is not what we wanted but still wanted to try it out. Total came out to be 60 dollars for 2 people which is absolutely outrageous, especially for cold food. Who knows how long the food had been sitting there, it was very dry and not good. The atmosphere is very awkward, no music, no service. We left very unsatisfied and never going back again.

This place is great. We came to Fort Smith for a work conference and several of the group ate here every day. Great sandwiches, side salads such as potato, and the service was top notch.

You should try the strawberry Fields salad! I suggest leaving the blue cheese off though..It ruined it for me, should go with Swiss. It’s perfect If you swap the cheese.
