We went to Club Café for breakfast and it ended up being one of our favorite stops of the trip! The vibe is welcoming and just effortlessly fun. You can tell it’s a place where people feel comfortable being exactly who they are, which makes the whole experience even better!
We ordered the French toast casserole and the lox plate, and both were fantastic. A perfect balance of flavors. The service was friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere had that perfect brunch energy.
We were really hoping to come back for Drag Bingo (which sounds iconic btw), but our schedule didn’t allow it. Next trip, it’s absolutely happening! Highly recommend whether you’re local or visiting, great food, great energy, and just a genuinely fun spot!

The food was delicious. We ordered mozzarella sticks and fish and chips and they struck a perfect balance of being not too heavy or too healthy. Our waiter was lovely and attentive. But I’m mostly here to say this blueberry cheesecake was incredible and I may dream about it for the rest of my life

Club Café is one of my favorite go-to spots in the South End, especially for weekend brunch. My friends and I come here often—whether we have a play to see at the nearby Lyric Stage or not. I believe the restaurant gives a discount if you have a ticket. Check with your server as rules may change.
The atmosphere is always lively, the brunch is consistently wonderful, and the prices are a great value for the quality and experience.
I personally recommend the Eggs Benedict and the Maryland crab cakes—both are absolutely delicious. One of my friends always gets the buttermilk pancakes and loves them, and another friend is a big fan of the Cobb salad. They’ve also tried a couple of the cocktails and said they were very good. Highly recommend the berry pies with ice cream.
One thing to be aware of: the bathrooms are unisex, and while that’s not a problem, there’s a bit of a learning curve. Most women head straight to the first restroom—which happens to be the one with urinals. Men, in the know, usually skip to the second bathroom without urinals. It might help to label the doors more clearly (e.g., “Bathroom with Urinals” vs. just “Bathroom”) to avoid any confusion.
There is a step outside that either one of my friends or I trip over. Every. Single. Time. We do this even though we are careful. Just be careful.
Service here is friendly and relaxed—not the fastest, but warm and welcoming.
All in all, Club Café is a hidden treasure. Those who know it, know it—and once you do, you’ll likely be back. I highly recommend it for a fun and flavorful brunch in the South End.

We’ve been coming lately for pre-theater dinner. The food has been delicious. I had a miso cod special that I hope comes back and then I had a regular menu item the apple cider pork chop that was cooked perfectly. I easily swapped out the sweet potato mash for regular mash. They also have an extensive cocktail and mocktail menu.

This was a very unexpected . My sister and I found this place just by luck. I can tell it’s amazing. The drinks are on point. The bar tender has some skill. The food, just yum. I am a sucker for sweet potato fries and these are . It’s very low key. Great music and if you really want they have a ton of tvs you can watch something. We will def be back for an early night

my friends and I were a group of 5 and 50% of the dance floor! slow Thursday night… we requested a couple songs and the DJ was incredibly rude about it, so we left! took money right out the bartenders pockets too because we all wanted another drink but not to TAYLOR SWIFT. “Real DJs” can read the room on a slow night!! you want packed crowds for your set?? move to NYC and DJ there!

Absolutely a must stop. Check the calendar for who’s performing. Great cocktails, sold food. Many nights it’s also openish mic and people being their own music. When your done with the Napoleon Room the main bar and club side and usually slamming with then young folk.

Everyone at club cafe was friendly, the bouncer, the hostess, the coat checker, EXCEPT for the wanna be twink that was serving the pizza slices. 1am 2/6/26 Friday going into Saturday (bad bunny night) I asked if I could get the slice w crust corner (it was the next slice anyways) and he said “yes of course but pay first.” So I did, I paid, and after he told me in such a rude way, “Oh I’m going to give you the worse slice because you gave no tip” and I said “yeah I gave no tip because I was standing in line asking for a slice that I was given in line. If I was sitting down and had a server I would give a good tip.” He was super rude and entitled. Laughed in my face and made some hideous remarks and expressions to me. After that even the 5 friends I had in line behind me waiting for a slice, got out of line because they were upset and preferred not spending money when he was that rude. Super entitled. I never do google reviews but genuinely the worse experience I’ve had. Genuinely the worse experience as a Hispanic coming to club cafe wanting to enjoy the Bad Bunny theme.

If I’m stopping by at 1:45 to get my jacket, I’m expecting the door person to say “sure go ahead hun” or some variation of that. The door guy acted like I was going to rob the place…Not cool, I don’t think any business should mistreat or be rude to customers stopping by near closing time. If you’re hiring people that feel attacked by a customer you’re hiring the wrong person. I just wanted to get my jacket. I respect closing hours and yes people who stay past 2am are yelled at, so no need to yell and mistreat someone who is just trying to get their jacket. Other than that, the bartenders are awesome and the vibe is great. Just need businesses to understand that if you close at 2 there’s no need to mistreat or be aggressive to people showing up before closing time for c reason. After 2 am is fair game. That’s all.
