Club 23 has a very unique menu. You can try something from all over Latin America all in one place. I read that the owner wanted people to feel like they were “walking away from Los Angeles.” Once you step through the door you can feel that. The colors are bright and airy and the art on the walls and windows make you feel like you are in Havana or Miami. They have interesting artists works all around that contribute to the uniqueness.

My family went there for Sunday brunch. We were greeted by the owner, Selina who has the biggest infectious smile. For starters we ordered the Piononos, Yuquitas Rellenas and Chicken Tenders. All were very good and tasty. The Piononos were our favorite. Off the brunch menu we ordered the Yucca Cod Fish Cakes which were delicious and very fresh. The eggs went very well with the fish cakes. The Huevos a la Mexicana was a very nice, light take on a typical Mexican omelet. Off the lunch menu we ordered the Cuban Sandwich which was just as good as what we had in Miami. The Red and Green Chimichurri Ribeye was cooked perfectly, and the Pepian Chicken dish was also cooked perfectly with very unique spices.

For drinks, our son tried the Chicha Morada that he said tasted like “Christmas.” Selina suggested the Tiamo Prosecco Rose which was a nice complement to our meals.
After all that food we really wanted to try their Chicha Morada Gelatin Cheesecake dessert. We thought we would try a little and take the rest home, but it was so good that we all finished it right there.

The prices were very reasonable. I don’t have anything bad to say about this new restaurant. From the ambiance, to the food, to the prices and friendly staff and owners, we really enjoyed everything about this place.

We walked in during their soft opening around 5:30 pm. We were greeted so warmly. Their Grand Opening is on October 15th from 4-8:30 pm. Their concept is to incorporate all 23 Latin countries. You can choose food, drinks, dessert, wine, and beer from all over the 23 Latin countries. Walking through the front door you feel like you’re entering Havana, Cuba. Tastefully colorful, good vibe music that makes you want to dance. My two-year-old son did. We tried one of each of the appetizers. Yucca stuffed with queso, platano stuffed with three types of meat, and chicken tenders coated in masa. My son loved the chicken tenders. I had the Cuban sandwich, my boyfriend had the steak medium rare with two types of chimichurri. We’ve had the usual green one, but the red one was by far our favorite. The steak dish is a must!!! And the CHEESECAKE!!! You won’t regret it. The manager, Selina, recommended an Argentinian Malbec to go with the steak. What a perfect pairing. The owner, Efren, stopped by to chat about the food and make sure we were happy.
I can’t wait to go back again.

I had never been to this restaurant, but my wife and I came to see Susie Hanson’s Latin Trio on a Friday Night. I had not made a reservation, and even though the wait was not long the manager thoughtfully carried 2 chairs over to us while we waited. This place has a nice atmosphere and nice art, but the team of employees was something special – just an attentive crew that obviously took pride in their work form the bar tender to the servers to the manager. The food ended up being amazing, my wife had Rib Eye steak and I had Arepas and Yuquitas Rellenas + some of the steak. It was fantastic. We had a great time here and loved the atmosphere and the unique South American cuisine

Cute place with really clever decor, especially the window treatments. Made it look like a sidewalk cafe in Miami with a menu to match. Had the Lomo Saltado and Cuban sandwich. Pleasant service. Only complaint is the Cuban could have used a little more salt and a sharper tasting pickle, but that could just be me.

Very nice and quaint family owned restaurant, with warm inviting Latin/Caribbean vibes. Live music was not too loud and added to the atmosphere. The food and service were amazing, and the piononos are a must!

Appetizers or just OK. Chicken strips were not good. Chicharrones with guacamole didn’t makes sense to me. Lighting was way too bright. Posole was good. I’ll try dinner another day.
