This was the go to place in Peru for good food. Last two visits the food was not very good. The baked beans used to be great, now they are straight out of a can. Over cooked broasted chicken and potatoes, didn’t dare try the ribs. Probably won’t be back unless I hear that it’s changed, really too bad.

I got the hamburger steak special, it came with mashed potatoes, green beans and a roll for $12. I washed it down with an IPA on tap. The blueberry cobbler was a good dessert. I was a surprised to see a service fee of 4%. I generally tip very good ( Around 30%) after seeing this they got less than 15%. No one likes being nickle n dimed.

Club 14 is not what I consider a dive. It’s more of a older folks hang-out with booze and very good food. We went today, like 430pm. Got served immediately. Ordered and received our food soon. Had the Chicken Fried Chicken with Mashed Potatoes abs White Gravy. Excellent meal. Other person had the Hamburger Steak with Onions and Mushrooms. He liked it alot. I can see myself going here any time I get invited from now on.

First time eating here great experience. Had a very diverse menu. Better in the summer with more outside seating. Has about eight different beers on tap plus other beers in the fridge. Full complement of alcohol. The jalapeno bacon mac and cheese is a must!!! And if you get any of the sides get the jalapeno ranch.

club 14 makes nice thick tenderloins. both the breaded and the grilled are thick. the breaded has a nice crust with a good pork to breading ratio. however one of our tenderloins hadn’t been trimmed and had some inedible gristle. tater tots were nice and crispy and the onion rings had a thick coating and we’re also crispy. however some of the pieces used the outer layer of the onion and we’re papery and tough. unfortunately everything was wrapped and petroleum based on recyclable styrofoam. need to switch to biodegradables. that being said this was our third visit and will probably be back.

Should be the #1 Tourist Destination in Peru
Revamped by a married couple who preserve the legacy and the name, Club 14 is too legit to quit. Went in as a foursome and we each ordered something fantastic. From turkey ribs, to fried giblets, smoked wings and my selection a ribeye. Everything came out perfect and with heaping piles of sides. The food alone gets this place five stars.
The hospitality takes it to the next level. I left feeling friends with the owners, the staff and we even met some folks who were headed to the same place as us after the meal. We discovered all this out and the history of the place in our mere 45 minutes there.
Club 14 is everything restaurants and hospitality used to be and what we wished it still was. Not a greasy spoon, not a stuffy chef shack, but good food good folks for the right price.

We stopped in here on a recommendation after a round of golf. All four in our party were from out of town and very much enjoyed the beef brisket for lunch. All sides were delicious as well. Server was fun and friendly. Overall great experience and would definitely go back…… gotta get the broasted chicken next!!
