This is a to-go pizza restaurant. It was Super-bowl night, the establishment wasn’t busy and our food was okay. The pizza was prepared nicely but the cheese bread was overly cooked. The cheese was burnt and it affected the quality of the experience. Considering the lack of customers at that time of pickup compared to their competitor Jets the next block down. I was disappointed in the quality of our order since it wasn’t busy.

I’ve suffered so you don’t have to. The pizza was terrible (again), though the crunchy bread and ranch dressing were decent. Grosse Pointe’s been a pizza desert since Saucy’s, and this place isn’t the oasis. *not cooked, not what we ordered BTW

I’ve stopped in for slices 4 or 5 times now for lunch when im working out this way, and it never dissapoints! Always friendly service and even put the little pizza table to protect my slices. Definitely recommend

We keep trying it every so often because it’s so close and we like Detroit style. But it’s just not cracking the pizza rotation for us. Pretty meh, if we’re doing classic Detroit style we’ll just make the longer trip to buddy’s.

Pizza dough was undercooked, and I didn’t expect my bruschetta to have onions on it as it wasn’t listed on their website. My meat lovers was missing beef and bacon. Go to the SCS location on Harper.

I grew up in Eastpointe, where the original Cloverleaf Bar is. It was a staple in dining out. This takeout is every bit as delicious.
My wife who is Celiac has said that their GF pizza is hands down the best she’s had in the area. On top of that, it was much cheaper than the other GF pizzas.
Cloverleaf was started by Gus Guerra, also known as the founder of Detroit Style pizza and original founder of Buddy’s.
Overall very impressed with quality, prices and portions. The Italian sub was loaded with easily twice as much meat as a Jimmy Johns for the same price.

Cloverleaf used to be my “fall back” pizza spot. Lately, I’ve been finding myself ordering from here more often than other places. Their gluten free options are more accommodating than other places in the area and definitely offer a value. I usually eat a small square pizza to myself. I decided to try the “meat lovers” and found myself full after two slices. They loaded the toppings on, crafting a hefty pizza that I can get two meals out of. I’m impressed with the quality and quantity.

I had to take the first pizza back. Deep dish dough was gooey. Second one wasn’t much better. You would have thought they would have tried harder. Bad cooks and bad management adds up to bad product.

It’s Cloverleaf pizza, but easy to reach right on Harper. The pizza is great, the prices are comparable to Jet’s but I think the crust is a bit better than Jet’s. I like their sides better than Jet’s as well. Great pizza if you can’t find or want to drive to Buddy’s.
