Had a memorable experience at Clove Indian Cuisine. The food, the ambience and the service is outstanding. We were served by Eustace who was very helpful!
We called for
– papad paneer roll – was good but would reorder it. Would like to try something different
– zaika shahi paneer – really yum
– dal makhani – amazing
– garlic naan – the best (do mention you’d like a crispy one)
We also took deliveries on later days for the dal tadka and biryani, which again were excellent.
I definitely think this is a must visit place when in Renton, even if not, travel to Renton only for Clove. It’s that good!
The attentiveness without being intrusive really stood out.
The food was absolutely delicious. Everything from the balance of the spices to the flavor and presentation was spot on. You can tell real care goes into the cooking.
The ambiance and atmosphere were warm and welcoming, making the whole experience even better.
A special shout-out to Francisco, who took great care of us super friendly, helpful, and thoughtful. He made sure we had everything we needed and even offered bags for all our leftovers to take home, which was really appreciated.
Overall, this was one of my better restaurant experiences in King County. Highly recommended I’ll definitely be coming back.
Not only was the food delicious, the staff and service was exceptional. There was also a fun Valentine’s Day feel, I was given a red rose!
I asked a staff member about a type of roti and they brought me a piece to sample. How wonderful!
The drinks were great as well. We got even more food to go!
We started with drinks and ordered the Cardamom Rose Martini and the Blood & Blanco. Both the cocktails were really unique. The cardamom one especially had this really nice balance of floral + spice.
For appetizers, we got the Tandoori – Ajwaini Shrimp, and Chicken Malai Tikka. Everything came out hot and flavorful, but the standout for me was definitely the Ajwaini Shrimp – super unique flavor and something I’d absolutely recommend trying. Our server, Teja, suggested most of these dishes and he was genuinely friendly and really knowledgeable about the menu, which helped a lot.
For mains, we shared the Zaika Shahi Paneer and the Latpata Chicken. Both leaned more toward a North Indian flavor profile, rich, creamy gravies with lots of depth. I didn’t get to try any dessert this time.
If you’re in the area and want good Indian food that stays true to classic flavors but also has a modern twist in some dishes, this place is definitely worth checking out.
The food was amazing. The paneer curry was rich and flavorful, the pani puri was so good, and the mango lassi was one of the best we have had. We also loved the paneer quesadilla, which was a fun twist but still tasted authentic.
Overall, everything from the food to the atmosphere was great. We will definitely be back.
Non-veg options were ok. Lamb chops was decent. Chicken Biryani was not up to par.
Our waiter was really nice!
Overall, good additional to the Seattle desi food scene. Its also open late, so that’s an added bonus.
The staff was warm and attentive, and they even surprised us with a special cheesecake to celebrate our anniversary. A must-visit for all food lovers!
