Great coffee, great staff, and great vibes! I went to the shop several times and ordered Cortados and Americanos—it was so good every single time. I also ordered several pastries and they hit the spot. The shop is super clean. I’m definitely going to stop by the next time I’m in Bethany Beach, Delaware!

Seriously one of the best mochas I’ve ever had! Also enjoyed the chocolate chip muffin. My husband loved his blueberry basil iced tea and his lemon, rosemary and Asiago scone. Next time I’m in Bethany, I will be here every morning for my coffee fix! Oh and service was extremely friendly!

Exactly what Bethany Beach needed! This is my new go-to place when I’m in town. The iced lattes are balanced. I also really enjoy their cardamom chai. They have yummy pastries for purchase. The line can get long but it moves quickly. The owner, Janet is friendly and welcoming!

Visited this coffee shop two days in a row. Both visits the staff were friendly and the drinks were delicious. It was hard to choose which drink I wanted because they have so many amazing offerings.
If you’re looking for a good coffee shop in Bethany, look no further. Clove & Cedar is all you need. I can’t wait to come back tomorrow!
Day 1: espresso tonic- Lightly sweet from the tonic water, but so bright and refreshing. The espresso was not at all acidic. Garnished with a dehydrated lemon which adds a cute touch.
Day 2: cardamom rose chai- the chai was perfectly spiced and not overly sweet. I ordered mine with almond milk and it was the perfect morning treat.

Such a gem of a coffee shop! The rose and cardamom chai is truly delectable with the perfect balance of fragrance, spice, and sweetness. You can really feel the sense of community at this coffee shop. The staff are very welcoming and you can tell each drink is crafted with attention and care! They even have local goodies from small businesses in the area. Easily my new favorite spot

One of the smoothest and tastiest cold brews I’ve ever had! Met Janet, the owner who was so delightful, friendly and welcoming. FYI- Janet brews her cold brew in the evenings after they close which gives it such great flavor! The other team members were all smiles and super friendly. Get there early if you want a pastry, they sell out of items by 10:30a+. This is a highly recommended for your morning coffee or any of their specialty drinks!!
