ALMOST AWESOME
This sushi bar has EXCEPTIONAL staff who are friendly and accommodating. Some of their sushi/sashimi is overpriced and some is a good deal. I have an issue paying tons of money for the same fish I can get at the sushi-go-round spots and hope this place reconsiders their pricing on some of the routine sushi offerings such as scallops and salmon belly.
The family will give this spot a try, but my guess is that it won’t be preferred over our Mom & Pop Tigard hole-in-the-wall.

They now have a happy hour menu available, but have raised their regular menu prices and kept the original prices on the happy hour menu.
Agedashi tofu is still one of their best dishes.
Our takeout order was missing an item and they refunded the amount back to my card.
Fish is still the same lackluster quality all the “usual” sushi places in Portland get their fish. The tuna we had was inedible and got tossed away.
Parking can be dicey. This location seems tough for a restaurant to succeed.
I’m not sure this place will make it and it’s sad because the folks who own it are lovely people.

Amazing atmosphere, food, and service! I loved the space and how open and friendly everyone working was! The grilled shrimp was so delicious and the sauce was to die for! We also had the hamachi sashimi which was so fresh, and for dessert the creme brûlée had a super crispy top and just the right sweetness. Highly recommend everything we tried!
Overall will definitely be back and will bring my family as well!

Sushi date night at a new place was NOT a bad choice! First time here, and we were blown away by the freshness and presentation of their sashimi. My only complaint is their oysters are deep friend instead of pan fried.. That just takes away the taste! Still 5 stars for the freshest sushi bar I’ve been to!

Been looking forward to trying new (to me) sushi places around the area, always looking for the best combo of fish cuts, price, atmosphere and variety. This place is a little elevated and definitely quality for a nice night out, date night or solo meal. Ample space, some outdoor seating, bar seating.
I chose the chirashi dish on this visit and was really pleased with the options. I’ve already been back once and plan to keep AZUKI in my sushi cravings rotation.

They were only open a week and I went twice. Everything was fresh and tasty. Service was attentive and on point. I’m very particular about my sushi and this checked off all the required boxes. Love the tempura batter and specials. Awesome soft shell crab, I really enjoyed My the Denver roll. Will be returning often!

Great atmosphere along with service. Really loved the option of whether I wanted to sit at the bar and watch some sports, a table for personal space and to enjoy my time, or at the sushi bar and talk with the chefs and have a great time. Food was excellent. Definitely will be back!
