We love small town cafes and this one did not disappoint! The food was excellent and the service was great! Even when we spilled a drink! The chicken fried steak is amazing and the double cheeseburger was a hit too! The homemade pancakes are delicious.

Wow, what a treat, service was amazing, food was amazing, kind to my children, and just all around nice. They had really cool straws, made of agave. I looked up the info on the wrapping and they are biodegradable, very cool especially in a small town nestled in the middle of a forest. The chicken fried stake was amazing, as was the biscuits and gravy (absolutely homemade), and the kids enjoyed the pancakes. Thanks for a warm welcome to travelers.

There aren’t many places to eat between St George Utah and Tonopah Nevada. We didn’t plan well and needed dinner. This was about the only place to eat and it was a 10 mile detour.
We were pleasantly surprised. We expected a small town eating experience. This can be good and bad. You usually get a slower paced family oriented experience but sometimes you also get a “what are you doing in my town” attitude not only from the staff but also from the patrons.
This is about what you would expect from a local place. The food was good but not exceptional. The service was excellent. The ambience was sparse. The chairs were utilitarian.
If I’m ever in town again, I would return for the service, alone.

2 friends and I were headed home, we had left St. George and were hungry. We stopped at the intersection, where there was a gas station and asked for redommendations. We were told just accross the street but they didn’t open till 8. So be it the appearance of the building is very blaw.
There was a gentleman in his pick-up truck waiting, I saw from stickers on his truck he was a Veteran, as am I. We had a nice conversation and he told me he and a buch of his other Vet. friends meet for breakfast every Monday.
Walking into the eatery was unimpressive, however very modern and clean.
Now lets talk about the GREAT SERVICE, VERY GOOD FOOD, AND HUGE AMOUNTS.
I couldn’t help but take a piece of cake to go for the road.
If your so lucky to be in the area stop in and eat.

I believe our waitress may have been just starting out since she seemed a bit new to her position as she may have placed our order incorrectly with the kitchen. I received my salad after my burger and later found my fries were missing from the original ticket so I got those late too. Despite this, the food was cooked perfectly for my family and I which made us very happy! Double burger was amazing, pizza cooked thoroughly and our fries were perfect- compliments to the chef…
