They are always so friendly. It is an older diner with friendly charm. Everyone is nice. They are definitely busy but they work hard to get everyone seated as soon as possible. The food is amazing and the service is great. Walking through the doors is like going back in time a little when people actually cared who walked through the door and if they were going to have a good day. Every time I have ever been here I’ve received amazing service. Every meal I’ve had has been awesome. The pancakes are ridiculously good too

Our new breakfast spot!
Friendly wait staff. Generous portions and perfectly prepared.
Western omelet had fresh veggies, not overdone, served nice and hot.
Sausage gravy & biscuits was no joke – HUGE!
Friendly wait staff. Wait for food was decent for a weekday morning. Not too long –

we’ve eaten there over the years, but it had been a while. We were getting our car worked on and decided to have breakfast. While we waited, we were sat down immediately. Still, has that old school diner feel with a counter, or you can sit at at tables/booth. Our waitress was super friendly. We always had a full cup of coffee, and it was actually pretty clean from what we remember it being there. Food was above average for that type of restaurant. The omelet was fluffy. I can say. I wish my biscuit was a little warmer, like it had been made

Close to home when I resided in Turkey Creek Forest for two years. A friend took me out for breakfast a couple times here. The clock, itself, is an attractor for, seemingly, a lot of reasons. Healthy options, like a yogurt parfait, for those watching their weight, per se. Of course, tons on comfort food and good for a good piping hot cup of Joe. Totally worth a try!

Very good and cozy restaurant with amazing atmosphere. I was very happy to spend time and spend money in this place.
A lot of small things inside that making this place more cozy. Different old clocks, maps, interesting information.
I like when menu has pictures and you can understand what you will get
Western omelette was very good with potato and sosage.
And also very affordable.

Bisquits and gravy last time were not up to par.
The gravy was thick like mud, not much sausage, not hot.
The bisquits were not fluffy. Hard and flat.
What happened? They used to have great bisquits and gravy.
After being served the waitress didn’t come back soon enough to ask if everything was good. By that time I already ate most of my food because I was hungry. Got tired of waiting.

This is by far my favorite place to eat in Gainesville! The staff are all so friendly, the food is amazing and they serve breakfast all day. And if you like pancakes, theirs are the best! I knew they were going to be good when I smelled them, but I think they are the best I’ve had in years!!! They make great soups and sandwiches, yummy omelettes and excellent tea. I also had their Thanksgiving meal yesterday, which I thoroughly enjoyed. If you haven’t tried The Clock yet, you’re really missing out!!!

What a great little restaurant. Looks like a lot of locals and we just happened to find it while in Gainesville. Great variety on menu. We had the zucchini appetizer and then cod sandwiches with onion rings for lunch. Huge plate of food and very good. Not greasy. Will go back when we are in town. Clean, staff is friendly,.it’s like going back in time.

First time eating here. There were lots of people. The staff was respectful, good environment. They were busy, but that’s a good thing to me. A well established restaurant with good vibes and good food, what else could you want. I recommend this local restaurant. Love it.
