Service was poor..guy wasn’t properly trained and paying attention. We had to get our own menu’s. Food was ok but nothing special…

The food is delicious, exceptional service, and the prices are affordable! The staff are very friendly and welcoming. Their pies are the best and it’s alway homemade, love it!

Been to the Friday fish fry about 5 times. The service is very bad. The girls never come get your plates when your done or come around for refills on drinks.i also don’t understand why they bring out such a small amount of fish and chicken. It’s supposed to be all you can eat but it’s more like all the kitchen decides to put out. Also the coleslaw is soooo watery and I wish they would put larger serving spoons in the salads because you have to stick your whole hand inside the bowl to scoop the salad which is very unsanitary and I’ve seen numerous people with long sleeves when they stick their hand in the salads their sleeves end up in the food. Very dusgusting

Decent menu selection. Food was ok, service friendly. Real mashed potato’s. The food wasn’t awesome, but not bad either, and for the (very reasonable) price, totally acceptable. Didn’t have dessert, but they looked very appealing.

Don’t go by the menu prices in the Nov. 2023 picture. Stopped in for lunch as a treat for the kids. According to the menu, $7.75 for just a 1/3# burger – nothing else, but for an add’l $3.50 you can add fries. Ended up paying more for lunch here than if we had stopped at Culver’s. Cash or check only…you can use their ATM for a $1.50 fee. I felt sorry for the 1 waitress running the show. She brought ¾ of our order and a few minutes later the remainder. The chicken wrap had little flavor; it seemed more like turkey. I thought it might be the lack of ranch on the wrap, so I asked for a side of ranch when she checked on us about half-way through the meal. The ranch was delivered for my last few bites – it may have been the ranch dressing that gave the meal an “off” flavor. Our waitress did check back with us one other time before giving us our check. The burgers tasted fine. The fries are amazing while hot and even not-so-bad once cooled. We like to try “local flavor” when passing through small towns. We can say we’ve been there, but it wasn’t that great to want to come back. You definitely don’t get your money’s worth here.

I have to say this is the best place to eat. Sure I’ve eaten breakfast here several times and that is wonderful as well. On this occasion my kids and I stopped in for a Friday night fish fry buffet and it was amazing. Most to mention the homemade pies… The staff is also very good and the owner/cook even offered to cook more food for us right at closing. Very thoughtful…

The only cons are that this is a small place so seating can be difficult at peak times, but definitely worth the short wait if necessary. This place also only accepts cash or check, but there is a ATM there if needed.

Remember future patrons this is a small town dinner, so please remember to tip reasonably because the wait staff will definitely appreciate it.

Small town comfortable casual feel. Food brought out one at a time. Young waitresses. Food is fantastic! Soup and pie recommended to me, and did not disappoint! This is definitely a place to try on a chill day when you’re not in a hurry and want to try some place new. Nice friendly people.

Loved this quaint unassuming restaurant! The service was spectacular and there was someone thing for almost everyone from pasta salads to butterflied pork chops and desserts that I saw going home in lots of happy looking dimers take home bags.

The service was very pleasant and attentive. Our table was clean. The daily specials were delightful.

And the Key lime pie and pumpkin desserts ordered at our table looked yummy. And the portions were ample.

I had a turkey burger with sweet potatoes fries a dish of amazing ice cream.

My only regret is that I did not find this place years ago!!!

A friend took me here and I loved it. There are so many food choices and daily specials–salads, soups, roast beef dinners and turkey burgers, along with the usual sorts of things like burgers. The array of homemade desserts was delightful. All of this along with the excellent service, and the casual, hometown friendly atmosphere makes this a not-to-be-missed lunch spot for locals and visitors alike.
