Looking for a new local place to try. Took parents there for prime rib, which didn’t have time advertised, of course we were 2 hours too early for that. Lobster bisque was very “brothy”, not like bisque and not much flavor. The food was typical “bar food” flavor. We had variety of dinners ranging from steak to burger to shrimp pasta. None of which i would recommend. We should have known as soon as we opened the door it wasn’t going to be restaurant quality, but decided to give it a try. Our server apparently went home during our service and we weren’t told she was leaving and new server came to finish up. Would have been nice to know who to get help from. Drinks needed refilled, but no server did that. By the time the new server came by, we were done eating and ready to get our bill to leave. On a good note, the adult beverages we had were the best part of our experience. We can mark it off our bucket list and move on to next. Would not go back, especially with not good advertising and no times posted online for specials.

I swear this is the best small town food with a great and fun atmosphere. The area seems to be slow because it’s the end of the season but the Clinton house still performed. Food was excellent and the service was great. The musician was a class act, Carl Smothers really knows how to put on a show. Ordered the tuna, it was perfect. Noticed others ordering the prime rib and it looked fantastic. I will 100% be back and I encourage you to enjoy this family friendly establishment. Clinton House for the win!

Came on a Saturday night, with a wonderful small band playing. The drinks are good and the food is delicious! Really enjoyed the fresh homemade french fries! Head on out if you like good food with a calm vibe.

Never again!!!
I ordered there tuna medium rare. It came out light pink in the middle and closer to medium than anything.
I asked our very nice waitress to take it back and the chef literally came to the table and questioned me about the cook of the tuna. I told him it looked over cooked to me and he asked if I asked for medium rare, I said yes so I guess I wanted more of a rare…. He said and I quote “ I guess you should have ordered it that way!”
And the manger refused to take it off, I sent it back because I was NOT going to eat it. My husband even said it was dry and over cooked.
We will never be back- I was not asking for free, I was asking for it to be cooked not DRY which I guess is RARE here!
We have bought over $800 in gc for our contractors for here for Christmas gifts each year.
That will not be happening again!
It WAS DRY!!!
The Chef was completely RUDE to come to the table like that in front of our table of 6!

First time there. Sat at bar had burgers and beers.
Both our burgers were awesome, perfectly cooked to a medium rare. Great atmosphere and service. Will definitely be having burgers there again!

Just received a burger, went to cut it in half, and discovered it wrapped in plastic. Server apologized, took it off our bill (I elected to skip a burger altogether), and we were still asked to pay for our salads and drinks.
No manager. Nothing.

Fabulously well made drinks and the bartender Steve might have been the best I’ve ever experienced. Happened inside and like it so much we came back later in the evening AND for brunch the next day which was soooo good!
