If you’re looking for an amazing hole-in the wall hometown favorite … we found it!
This is probably the best sub sandwich I have ever had! The chicken bacon ranch is soft warm Appalachian cheese herb bread with grilled chopped chicken, crispy bacon melty cheese with all the fixin’s! My husband truly enjoyed the hamburger sub as well! Onion rings and cheddar bites were crispy and perfectly done.
Do yourself a favor and pick up a locally made for the last 75 years Dr. Enuf soda. Refreshing like a seven up with good for you ingredients. Apparently, locals have long reached for it after a too-long-of-a-night and call it a ‘hang-over’ cure!
Kelsie and the other sweet employees were so welcoming and kind. Kelsie patiently answered all our questions with enthusiasm and helped us order the most perfect lunch ever! She loves the restaurant and her hometown and it shows!
The sandwich shop was busy filing a catering order of 500 subs for tomorrow … and we never would have known it! Our meal was prepared in a timely manner and served to us hot and fresh right to our table.
There’s a small seating area with about 5 tables. It’s cozy and warm and just a lovely place to enjoy a great sub!! Pics of menus and shop are included as well as our food.
We bought a pack of sub rolls to take home and try our own creations as well!

I’ve tried this place 2 times and sadly didn’t enjoy it. I was so hoping to after it having such great reviews. The chicken cordon blue was cold, soggy and flavorless. The cheesesteak was not at all tasty and the first but was fatty and bready. I ended up not eating either sub. The people who work there are nice.

Everyone who works here is so nice and the food is so good and also inexpensive. I would make the 1 Hour Drive from Asheville just to eat here again and then turn around and drive home.

A small sub and soul place with top-notch dining atmosphere and exemperalry service as soon as you walk in. Kind servers and chefs are behind the counter. A comprehensive menu is to your right when you walk into their little abode. With so much to choose from their incredible menu; after making your order, they will get it to you within a timely manner. Nothing on the menu will disappoint, including the new loaded fries options, which I devoured with satisfaction before thinking twice. Locals trust this place for an over-filling meal for an apparent reason, and you should too if you’re passing through or staying for the week. Prices are fair and should not be given a second thought when you’re paying for love, care, and portions with every bite. Bravo for the staff and the locals for making this place a hallmark on the map.

My wife and I enjoyed great service and food at Clinchfield Sub Station this afternoon. She had the breakfast burrito and I had the hot buffalo chicken sandwich with waffle fries. They also make bread for sandwiches onsite every morning. Everything we had was delish!

One of the best little deli/restaurants in Erwin, TN. The staff are super nice and friendly, and the food is stellar! All of the food is freshly made to order. I definitely recommend their burgers. There are many different combinations of salads, subs, and burgers to choose from on the menu. My SO and I have made it one of our top 5 places to eat in Erwin.
