The hospitality is amazing. Everyone treats you like family. It is a no frills diner, don’t expect 5 star food. The owner will allow dogs in, but the pup needs to behave. The vinegar pie is an acquired taste, some say it takes like lemon. It tasted like vinegar to me. And the pancakes are huge! Don’t worry, they don’t expect you to finish them. Overall it is a cool place to stop and grab some food.

Y’all, let me just tell you, if you’ve never tried Clinch Mountain Bakery & Restaurant, you should. We had an amazing experience earlier today. The staff were all extremely friendly and accommodating. The portion size is ridiculous (we had 6 to-go boxes), the food was cooked perfectly, and you can’t beat the prices!!!! ***** had the bologna sandwich, **** went with the catfish, ***** had a cheeseburger, and I picked the Clinch Mtn breakfast.

A place progress has forgotten, but the taste is still there! Had the ‘all you can eat’ catfish, which was one order – biggest filets I have ever had, fries, Cole slaw, we left with a box!! But what stands out is the “Vinegar Pie”. As legend is told, during the depression lemons were scarce so… ot was amazingly good! I could have eaten a whole pie!!

We’ve driven past this hidden gem hundreds of times but always had somewhere else to be. This time, we stopped in for breakfast and I’m glad we did. The view from the top of Clinch Mountain is gorgeous. The service was friendly, fast, and continuous. Our server was like our friend from the beginning. The food was great and the pancakes were enormous. I recommend that you ask for just one. We are definitely going back for dinner. I highly recommend the no one pass this place up. It looks a little rough on the outside but it is definitely a great place to eat.

Great food with a great view. Ample servings without the ample price.

The cheese steak was devine! The meat was flavorful and tender, with melty cheese on a perfectly soft bun. I’m not sure if I’d order it again, but the vinegar pie was interesting and def one of a kind. Worth a try.
Overall, I would eat there again, if I was ever in the area.

The Clinch Mountain breakfast pictured below is bigger than the plates it comes on and is my go too, eat on it at home several days! Beautiful views of Cherokee Lake and just up from Veteran’s Overlook. We take all our guests here. Fridays are all you can eat catfish with talented blue grass pickers that were extremely talented! Our server sang Jolene and a hymn. A beautiful night with beautiful views. There are modern cabins on site for rent through air bnb.

Stopped by on a whim passing through and was pleasantly surprised! We ordered the chicken salad sandwich and a bacon grilled cheese. Food came quickly and our server was so nice. Fries are seasoned well and boy are they delicious. We are so happy we stopped to check this place out! With the added bonus of gorgeous views, I definitely recommend checking it out! Cards are accepted here for anyone wondering.

We were there last week with a group and loved our food! I got the biggest hamburger I have ever seen, 1 pound! I had to share it, it was delicious! Another in our group ordered a fried balogna sandwich, it was at least 1” thick! WOW. We all loved our food and the service was great. We would definitely go back.

Everybody was extremely nice and we felt like we were at home even though we are miles and miles away from home. They made my son’s pancake into the shape of Mickey Mouse, which they didn’t need to do. Our food was amazing, the biscuits are homemade. We Ordered The clinch breakfast which came with a little bit of literally everything, and it filled us up, we couldn’t even finish our food, but it was amazing.
