Tried it for the first time and It was our first and last. They are very short staffed. They only had one server, which is understandable in today’s time but food was just mediocre. Nothing to brag about. Chicken tenders were over-cooked. Chicken Livers were undercooked. Sweet tea was not sweet at all. On a good note…the fries were good and the fried potatoes were good. We won’t go back.

Clinch Mountain ⛰️ Bakery & Restaurant also has 4 cabins atop Clinch Mountain that has million dollar views. Not just a five-star, but these cabins have billions of stars. Each cabin has a theme, so ask for the one you feel comfortable with… Honeymoon,Harley, etc.

I cannot tell you how good this place was, the clinch breakfast was HUGE. They also had this coin game where u use the quarters to knock other ones down and u put them back in. I played that for like two hours . But all in all I loved that place. Thanks clinch mountain

Excellent food! Fantastic, friendly service! They make you feel at home like you’ve known them forever. If you’ve never tried vinegar pie, your in for a treat! Its like lemon and custard had a baby! I loved it!

Chicken Livers were horrible. Potatoes were cold with made from a packet gravy. Cornbread was cold, dry and obviously came from a box. Pinto beans cold too. Only thing that was edible and we consumed was lemonade. $32 wasted on meal. I still gave our waitress $20 tip because she deserved it for working there. View is great from their mountaintop location.

I was going to give this restaurant 4 stars, but I truly believe the view is worth a star on its own, so 5 stars it is. The scenic view is breathtaking when you pull up to park. The restaurant is diner-like & a multitude of desserts are displayed in cases when you walk in the door. There was some of the usual fare like pecan pie & fruit cobblers, but there were also handmade mini eclairs & candy cobblers including Kit Kat, Twix, Butterfinger & more. The restaurant was clean & I appreciated the large glass windows. We opted to create our own appetizer sampler with fried green tomatoes, fried pickles & fried ravioli. The fried green tomatoes were absolutely phenomenal: light, crispy batter on perfectly cooked, flavorful, green tomatoes. I usually prefer fried pickle spears & they had pickle chips instead, but again, super delicious & fried just right! The fried ravioli were quite bland. Our server was new & didn’t realize marinara was supposed to be served with them. I asked if they had marinara & our server brought it out – ice cold! I definitely would not recommend the ravioli. I opted for the French Dip sandwich which came with fries. There was an abundance of meat & the au jus was warm & tasty. I wish there had been more cheese & that the bun had been lightly toasted. My fingers stuck to/in the crust of the bread & if it were toasted, I feel that would not have been the case. The fries were terrific!! They were hot, crispy, well salted & fried to perfection. One of our group ordered the 2 patty burger. We were all amused at his reaction when it arrived – it was obviously much more than he expected! He did say it was really good & quite a bargain. I purchased a piece of peach cobbler & a piece of peanut butter cobbler to go. We tried them later that evening. I was not a fan of the peach because it had very little fruit. I like at least a 50/50 split between fruit & ‘cake’. The peanut butter was amazing!! Even though the layer of peanut butter appeared quite thin, it was definitely adequate & the taste was spectacular! I will return to this restaurant!!
