Excellent Thai food which felt quite authentic and didn’t suffer from being too sweet which can sometimes be the case with Thai food. I had the prawn basil chilli stir fry which was delicious as was the coconut rice and papaya salad ( though the salad was super hot!). Efficient and pleasant service and reasonably priced.

In 2021, when I was attending a language school, I used to come to your restaurant two days a week. When I ordered fried rice with chicken and egg, you served it with a sauce on the side in a small glass container. It was a chili sauce with a ketchup-like consistency, slightly sweet, and without any pieces in it. I’ve been trying to find that sauce and was wondering if you could tell me its name.

Celebrated a family birthday here and will definitely be coming back!
Everything was spot on! Great service, good ambiance, huge selection for one our party that is vegetarian all priced by reasonable! The £30-£40 per person is mostly due to us adding more food and drinks as it was delicious! You could easily find out on 3 course + a drink for £30
Recommend!

Was my first time to try Thai food
I had the beef pad Thai, which was really really delicious. The best way to try Thai food for the first time. Good portion for the price.
The restaurant was nice cozy and the staff were very welcoming with good service

Luckily was able to get a table without booking on Friday night. The restaurant is beautifully decorated with wooden crafts. The crew is very friendly, polite and the service is excellent.
Foods were delivered in excellent temperatures. tong yum seafood was delicious with fresh prawns; red curry chicken was good, but using chicken fillets wasn’t very thai style. weeping tiger using decent beef sirloin and its sauce was excellent.
overall an excellent experience despite the foods being modified to suit British appetite

Honestly, everything about this place is 10/10. Having lived in Bangkok over 10 years, Thai food is my fave cuisine and it’s fair to say that Clifton Thai did not disappoint!
We ordered a few dishes to share (Prawn Tom Yum Soup, Chicken Red Curry, Beef Massuman Curry, Chicken Tom Kah Soup, Vege Spring Rolls, Chicken Larb, Coconut Rice and Plain Jasmine Rice). Everything was amazing!
Service was above and beyond! Super friendly and went the extra mile to cater for an allergy! All round great evening!

Just came back from this lovely place! It really deserves five stars!
We shared chicken skewers as starter and they came with a little grill to keep them warm. The taste was delicious and the meat was soft but well cooked. After that I got a green curry with coconut rice. The portion is nice and filling more than enough for my taste. The staff is super nice. Such a good dinner. Very recommended!

Nice, clean and quaint locale with smartly incorporated Thai architecture. The tofu cashew nut stir fry was a bit too salty in my taste, but the Thai Tamarind fish and green curry were pretty good. I won’t be coming back as the serving size didn’t reflect the price that was a bit too high in my opinion, and I have had better curries elsewhere. Great place for a family dinner or date.

This restaurant makes me feel close to home! I was a little disappointed initially as I wanted to have a steamed whole sea bass (been craving for it for a while) but sadly they’ve run out of sea bass as it was quite late when I went. So instead I tried their drunken noodles and thai fish cake and both were amazing with authentic flavour profile. The staff are excellent too with a speedy service.

I walked randomly on the street and came across this decent authentic Thai restaurant. The restaurant looked quite spacious because there is a large mirror on the wall, there wasn’t a lot of people in the restaurant despite the fact that I’ve visited it during peak hour. The food was really good with a wide range of taste and spices, yet I’m a bit disappointed by the portion. It is kinda small and I didn’t feel full after eating it. I would recommend ordering a starter in addition to the main. The staff is really friendly and she offered me suggestions of what to eat and I’m very impressed by her knowledge of Thai culture. I would really recommend anyone who is interested in Thai going to there. The price is okay it’s just £7.
