While there is a good amount of pizza competition in the area, I was pretty excited when Cliffside Pizza opened as it had a nice nostalgic look to it. My friend and I got a pie half pepperoni so we get a sample of the toppings, along with a classic cheese slice. Not only was the place nostalgic looking, but the pizza taste brought me back to those childhood days if that makes sense. The slices held their own, and did not flop which is always a plus. I like that they use a medium thickness on the crust; I am not a fan of thin crust and want to feel full when I eat the pizza. This place did not disappoint. As you can see, they did not skimp on the toppings and the pizza was solid. There was also a good amount of cheese, and just the right amount of sauce; I typically prefer my pizza to be light on the sauce. The crust on this pie was also delicious, my friend and I did not skip any part of this pizza. Looking at the menu overall, the prices do look fair and I would come back under a few conditions which I will get into. The only thing I noticed was that some of the cheese fell off the pie a little easily. I will note this was not a big deal as it was just a few pieces and the pie did hold its own for the most part. I am a convenience guy, and I hate ordering food over the phone as well as talking on the phone period. It took me a while (from when they opened) to try this place because they are not on Uber Eats or Grubhub. I know it sounds nitpicky, but they would have gotten at least 5 more orders out of me if they were on a food service app. I like to skip the annoying phone clutter and just punch in my order through a screen, that is the modern way. This time, my friend was nice enough to call in our order but I highly suggest getting on Uber Eats or grub hub. If you do, I will be ordering a lot more and do not mind paying the extra buck or two to avoid the phone call. Other pizza spots that may not be as good are easier to work with if they are on food apps for when placing big orders for groups, nobody likes repeating the order back over again. This way it is in writing by the customer and nobody can try to skimp and say I did not hear it correctly. If you love a classic pie and do not mind making a call or ordering there, definitely recommend this place over a some of the other local spots quality wise.

So happy this place opened up! Very friendly service and delicious pizza. The pizza isn’t dried up and burnt, low flop, fresh, plenty of sauce, and reasonably priced. You can really taste the love and pride that goes into the pizza. It’s started out as my dad’s new favorite pizza and pasta joint and now one of mine as well!

A great new spot in the neighborhood!
I wanted to try this place but a whole pizza felt like too much, so I ordered a chicken calzone and tiramisu to go — and everything was so delicious.
The calzone was generously filled and very flavorful, not dry at all, and the tiramisu was light, creamy, and not overly sweet — the perfect dessert.
Most importantly, the owners were incredibly friendly, which made the experience even better.
I’ll definitely be coming back to try their pasta and pizza next time.

A mom and pop shop run with people who clearly have love for their food. Generally with these mom and pops, outside of the pizza, rolls and sandwiches, they put low effort into their pasta dishes. I ordered a simple pasta with meat sauce and a slice of sausage pizza, and I was astounded by the quality of the meal. The meat sauce was well balanced, not overly salty like many places. The slice was excellent. I can imagine how the rest of their menu tastes based on the fact on how good the pasta with meat sauce was. I will be working my way through the menu. A hidden gem, and the best neighborhood pizza joint for miles around.

Went on opening day. Owners were welcoming and very nice. Ordered A cheese pie, meatball and chicken parm heros. The pie was perfect along with the sandwiches and the prices are very reasonable. So happy to find our new go to pizzeria, good luck with your new business.
