This is a great place. Good for all ages. Very friendly staff. The food was very good and I know we will be back. We had fried green tomatoes as an appetizer. My husband had flounder and I had catfish. Both were lovely. We will definitely be returning.

Somebody told me the fish sandwich was all they ate here so I had to try it. It was way bigger than the bun so you know they are doing it right! Perfect batter, perfectly fried! Definitely would love to come back soon and try the rest of the menu. I’ve worked in three different restaurants and even though it wasn’t real busy they still cared about the food, cooking it right, and serving the customers with a good attitude. Very helpful servers. Wish I took a photo.

Good food but SLOW service sometimes…. My last trip was not a pleasant experience. The waitress sat my group of 4 people outside and I’m pretty sure she just completely forgot about us and never put our food in after we ordered. She filled our drinks only once in 1 hour. After sitting outside in the sun for over an hour “AFTER” we ordered and that’s not including the 30 min it took to actually place an order we got up and left. People that had came in 30-45 min after we did had already gotten their food, finished eating, and left.

Hubby and I stopped by today for some lunch. We are on vacation and love driving our boat over to this restaurant for lunch. We had such great service and food all last year when we vacationed on the lake. There was a server/ manager that always had our drinks and appetizers ready as soon as she seen us pulling up our boat. She remembered our names always socialized with us and really made us feel welcomed. Sadly today we learned that she is no longer there and in fact they don’t have any employees. So even though Google said they were open we arrived to an empty building.
Very sad because this is a staple in our vacation each year.

We ate there Thursday before the 4th of July. Wait staff was very overworked. There were only 2 waitresses. Could not get refills and side orders were not correct. But they were doing their best, but the kitchen staff was terrible. Sending out the wrong food. I ordered a bbq burger that was dried from being overcooked. My son in law ordered the combo platter, 8 shrimp(not bad) and 1 small piece of catfish. All of it was way overcooked.
The Hamburger steak was just a premaded burger platter the same as my hamburger patty.
It is way overpriced for any of these items. Will not be back.

Clifford’s Restaurant was delicious! I had the salmon (as usual). It was cooked perfectly and my daughter’s chicken strips were hand breaded. We sat outside and watched the hundreds of massive carp fight for fish food. These are hand fed carp on Lake Russell. If you ever get the chance, go to Clifford’s and see them. This is definitely where you want to be.

Had spoiled fish served me today. After fish was sent back waitress offered to replace the plate. Management informed us that he had told the kitchen staff ealier to throw the fish away. Very glad it was us and not a child that may not habe known the fish tasted bad. This was my first time going here and now my last. Spoiled food should never make it to a customer. We declined replacement as our appetite was now ruined.
