Absolutely fantastic experience! We will definitely be back. The Asian Salmon was cooked to perfection, and that glazed sauce was incredible. It’s so nice to find a place that has great options for adults but also something the kids love—the Mac & cheese was a huge hit with our little ones.
A special shout-out to our server, KJ, who made the meal even better. The service was attentive, friendly, and just plain great. 5 stars all around!

Service was fast and friendly. Actually it was phenomenal. We both ordered medium rare ribeye. It was done almost perfectly. We tried the crab Rangoon dip. It was a different take on a favorite of ours. Chips were nice and crisp- just a smidge lacking on the sweet and sour side of the dish. We will definitely come back.

Friendly staff that works hard to take care of us. The perch dinner really wasn’t very good, small portion of perch within the breading–too much breading. Rice was cold and somewhat hard. BUT we’ve had a few good meals here, so we will try again and we like the staff.

We bring a large group here every summer for a special evening with family. We go for the charm in an historic setting, and the food is consistently good.
Service can be slow depending on the day and number of customers, but the staff is always accommodating.

Shane and his crew catered our daughter’s wedding at Ivy House on 1/31/2026. The food was outstanding! We received so many compliments on the appetizers and meal! Everything was served in a timely manner, presentation was great, the food was hot and tasted amazing! Would recommend Cli Catering without a doubt! Job well done!!

We had a great first visit to Clifford Lake Inn and certainly plan to go back! Celebrated a 50th birthday party, the staff was warm and friendly, great live music and we can’t wait to go back for the Lake Views without snow. Menu is ecletic with creative drinks and a few specials that most got. Will go back!

We visit here often, but when my wife was diagnosed with cancer a few months ago, we were no longer able to go out to eat or congregate in large groups, so to avoid catching any sickness. I sent an email to Clifford Lake Inn to see if they might be able to accommodate our need to dine secluded. The owner (Shane) responded he was happy to seat us in a dining area with no other patrons and wow did they come through. What a great experience! Food was 10 out of 10! This is as much a dining experience as it is great, local food. The owners ensured our time was special. We’ll be back and happy to support this business.

Very nice place. The food was very good, with a great location and atmosphere. Our party ordered the.. dockside risotto, prime rib brunch bowl, salmon benedict, grilled salmon sandwich, sweet potato tacos, and a smash burger. Music way too loud for a Sunday at 2pm.

We had Clifford Lake Inn cater our wedding at Ivy House in Saugatuck, and everything was amazing! From the very start at our tasting, we had such a great and personable experience with Shane. He took the time to describe each dish in detail and even suggested a few additional menu items that we ended up adding to our wedding meal.
We were told their chicken tenders were phenomenal, so we added those (along with French fries) for our late-night snack. Unfortunately, we (the bride and groom) didn’t get a chance to try them, but our guests couldn’t stop raving about how incredible they were!
We can’t wait to visit Clifford Lake Inn soon to try them ourselves. Highly recommend them for any event or wedding — the food and service were fantastic!
