“This was my first visit to Clemento’s, and I wanted to give the place a fair shot. Walking in, the space is visually loud with sports banners and alcohol chalkboards, yet none of the boards list food or pricing. Only one handheld menu is available at the counter, so first-time customers end up holding up the line just trying to decide what to order. The wooden dining tables are heavily worn, chipped, and cracked—surfaces that are difficult to sanitize properly—which raises understandable concerns about cleanliness. The second room has four pool tables, all covered during lunch, with no signage indicating hours or pricing, which makes the space feel unused and disconnected from the restaurant’s flow.”
“I was quoted a 30 minute wait for a small pepperoni pizza, a steak and cheese, and loaded fries. Instead, the wait stretched to a full hour with no updates.
The timing was especially disappointing because the long delay pushed me past 2 PM into their happy-hour window, where my appetizers and beer would have been nearly half-price. If I had called in the exact same order for 2 PM pickup, I would have paid significantly less than I did waiting inside from 1 PM onward.”
“The loaded fries were the clear standout. They were crisp, well-seasoned, and topped generously with cheese, bacon, and jalapeños. The portion, however, fills an entire pizza box and really needs a smaller, more reasonably priced option, especially for a single diner.”
“The pepperoni pizza had a good cheese melt and a pleasant herbal sprinkle on top, but the crust underneath was soft and pale, lacking any crispness or proper color. The sauce tasted generic, and finding stray green pepper slices on a simple one-topping pizza immediately pointed to sloppy prep habits and cross-contamination behind the counter.”
“The steak and cheese was the biggest disappointment. The portion of meat was decent, but the flavor was flat, unseasoned, and needed more cheese. At $13.99, it simply didn’t justify its price, especially when Market Basket sells a larger, better-tasting steak and cheese for $5.99. Finding random peppers mixed into the steak reinforced concerns about an unorganized or poorly cleaned prep area.”
“Clemento’s has friendly staff and a steady crowd of regulars, but the overall experience for a first-time customer felt inconsistent and overpriced. Between the inaccurate wait time, missed happy-hour pricing, questionable sanitation of worn wooden tables, cross-contamination issues, and underwhelming food execution, the quality didn’t match the cost or the reputation.”

I have a lot of wonderful things to say about Clemento’s. Let me start by saying this wonderful restaurant has donated food for charity. Secondly, their food is amazing!!! The fries are crisp, and the oil was recently changed (you can tell by taste and color of the fries). I’ve had their pizza and calzones before as well… You really can’t go wrong with your food order…Now for my honest review of the infamous steak and cheese… There has been some debate around town regarding the best steak and cheese… Do not count Clemento’s out of the running! Do you see how full and meaty this sandwich is?!!! The bread was very soft (not toasted), filling to bread ratio is insane (in a good way!), very cheesy as well. I would have opted for a little less cheese, and maybe more peppers/onions/mushrooms, but that’s being extremely nit-picky!!The menu is reasonably priced as well, you will not be disappointed!!

The food is so good here! The owner Steve and his wife are amazing! They make sure to make things right if anything is not right! They go above and beyond for their customers. The chicken finger subs are loaded with chicken like I’ve never seen and the steak and cheese subs are the best around and full of steak! The pizza’s are big and loaded with toppings! Highly recommended.

Read quite a few reviews noting “burnt” crust… smh! The crust is charred, as it should be! It holds up nicely when picked up and this type of cook provides both a good flavor and textural contrast. The pie could have used just a bit more pepperoni in spots, but satisfied overall. This was my first time ordering from Clemento’s and will definitely order again. Please keep the cook/crust as is!

Ordered pizza…very dry, overcooked, hard and chewy crust, minimal cheese…some spots no cheese, and hardly any sauce. Not my favorite.
Updated: I received an email from Clemento’s offering a free pizza. That’s good customer service. I changed my rating to reflect their response. Thank you Clemento’s.

Ordered a Greek salad.
What I received was a deconstructed sub with unseasoned, boiled shredded chicken and feta cheese. I lost my appetite and it went straight in the trash. Putting feta on sub toppings and calling it a “Greek salad” is wild.
My brother ordered a burger that he heard was “the juiciest and one of the best around.” The only juicy thing about the burger was the soggy, sopping wet buns. The burger itself was a burnt hockey puck. Also went in the trash.

Between door and the business, they confirmed our order without having everything we ordered. Then wouldn’t cancel and refund the whole order because they “already started making it”, making us order from two places to receive orders at separate times, to satisfy my whole family. The order should never have been started until hearing back whether we wanted to continue with it or not since 2 out of 4 items were unavailable.

Food has been consistently burnt and under portioned. Servers were rude and ignored any of the customers needs. Watched 3 people pile into a one person bathroom and come out sniffing and touching their noses. This was all in a 2 hour wait for a door dash order. Order dominoes.
