Let’s start with wishing my late Wife a Happy 40th Birthday! With that said June 14 was her 40th Birthday and in her honor I have planned her dinner at one of her favorite restaurants in a beautiful town where she was born and raised. She absolutely loved the onion rings so Ofcourse I went all out because why not. Delicious if not better from years ago they never disappoint. The entire meal was delicious as I had the shrimp with a baked potato and a side of wild rice with garlic bread. My drink of choice was my favorite pint of Guinness. Everything was absolutely delicious. Unfortunately I skipped dessert but it’s okay. Now to my favorite part, Carmen was an absolute gem. She was professional, super friendly and most importantly had a smile on her face the entire time. Her care and kind heart was what I needed after an emotional last few weeks. My Wife’s 2 year passing anniversary is the 30th so I plan on coming back for another delicious meal maybe having her favorite meal. A huge hug and thanks to Carmen for her just being her. Thank you Clementines Too for such a wonderful experience!!!

I love every time I drive to Clementines, even with it being over an hour away. It brings back many childhood memories. It’s perfect in the summertime and does get quite crowded. This time, I arrived just after noon, and there were several bar seats and booths available. I was seated right away to a small wooden booth by the window.
The server came and shared the specials of a variety of mimosas, Mahi and prime rib, and choices of soups, including french onion and cream of broccoli. They also have a full bar.
I ordered ice tea and the James Gang, which was 10 butterfly shrimp, a side of garlic bread and baked potato.
My food arrived quickly and was perfect, just as I expected and described on the menu.
The atmosphere was pleasant with boats docked just outside the window. It started filling up just as I was leaving. My server was amazing. Attentive and brought refills before I even asked. She checked back several times and even offered to get an iced tea to go.
My bill was cash price of $19.87 with a surcharge for cards.
Definitely recommend Clementines. They are known for the onion rings!

I’ve been to the South Haven location of Clementines many times, and this was my first visit to this location. The menu was the same, and the food was just as tasty and generous as before. We ordered a 12” stack of onion rings, and I still swear they have the best onion rings. I got the Harbor Town olives burger with a side of French onion soup. The soup was excellent and had lots of gooey cheese. The burger tasted great, but the bun wasn’t able to hold everything together. Still, it was a satisfying meal. The waitress was friendly and quick, and the interior is quite pleasant. There are nice views of the marina from the windows. It’s a nice second location of an excellent restaurant.

The food is always great at Clementines, and surprisingly well priced for a waterfront restaurant.
We had the shrimp crab sandwich & the Chick-N-Twist Creole pasta. Both were phenomenal.

The waitress could have known the menu options a little better when I had questions. I really wanted the herb crusted perch But I can’t have gluten. I asked if it was served with breadcrumbs and she said yes. However I don’t think that’s the case based on the description of herb crusted. I didn’t want to chance it. I did end up with the most delicious strawberry chicken so I was very happy. My husband was also pleased with his meal and the atmosphere on the patio was wonderful.

Clementine’s Too delivered on the food front during our recent visit. The dishes were quite good, hitting the spot and leaving us satisfied. However, the experience was slightly marred by the fact that, despite it being a truly perfect day outside, we were insisted upon sitting indoors. It seemed a shame to not be able to enjoy the lovely weather while dining. While the interior is pleasant enough, the missed opportunity for outdoor seating on such a beautiful day was a bit disappointing. Overall, we enjoyed the food, but the seating situation kept this from being a full five-star experience.

Loved the service and atmosphere of the restaurant. The Menu has a pretty gold variety from appetizers to choose from, to meats, sandwiches, pastas, burgers – you name it. There wasn’t anything super memorable about the food overall, but it definitely was tasty.

We really enjoyed having a bite to eat on the patio, watching boats cruising up and down the river. The weather was perfect and our waitress was spot on. I recommend visiting Clemetines, you will be glad you did!!!

Thoughts before eating: One of my 2026 Resolutions was to try 10 new restaurants, And the First one on the List is Clementines in St. Joeseph, Very Famous amongst Downtown St. joe people but never really talked about elsewhere, I was talking to my Coworker about being here Yesterday and a Customer interrupted and said “You gotta try their Onion Rings!” And the first thing on the menu is their “FAMOUS” onion Rings so I’m very excited because I’ve never seen such a hyped up Onion ring before.
Thoughts after eating: I can definitely see why people love this restaurant, High Fresh Quality ingredients for sure , And everything was very unique tasting but with classic staples , Its definitely a top 10 restaurant in Berrien County …. The Wait staff was really good and nice , No Major issues. Very clean and tidy with a beautiful view of the dock.
A restaurant I would go back to in a hurry for sure.
