Clementines was our favorite restaurant, and when it closed we were heartbroken. When we heard the staff reopened it as Clementeams, we booked a reservation immediately. Just seeing our wait staff put smiles on our faces. I mean, how amazing is it that the staff we regard so highly, is close enough to take the financial risk of re-opening and running this iconic restaurant? And wow, are they amazing! The food was spot on, as it always has been, and the service was wonderful. We were a party a four women for a birthday, and the staff was attentive as well as giving us space to chat and celebrate. Absolutely recommend this fabulous endeavor for the Clementeams team if you’d like to dine out and have a great dining experience.

Went on a busy Saturday night, called at 5 and was delighted to hear they would be able to take a reservation for 3 at 6 PM. Waitress was so sweet and knew the menu to a T. Everyone loved their meals, I had the Gumbo as a starter and Blackened Catfish. Best food I’ve had since being in New Orleans two years ago. BYOB was a plus. Can’t wait to return

Went to Clementeams last night. It was as good if not better than Clementines. Beatrice greeted us at the door and seated us in her area where we were treated to her great service for this visit. The menu is as good as ever and the ambiance remains very nice. Thank you to the old team for taking the risk and reopening! We wish you all the best and will be back many times.

Clementine’s Restaurant is amazing. I went there with a bunch of my cousins. We used the outdoor seating. There’s a pandemic after all.

The menu has lots of great stuff. We ordered some fried oysters, Caesar salad,, and caprese salad with shrimp to share. The portions were certainly big enough to share. And they were excellent.

I selected the salmon on a bed of sautéed spinach with a side of mashed potatoes. The food was delicious and the portions were very generous. Normally, I finish my meals, but this was so big a portion that I couldn’t finish it. I did take a taste of my cousin’s steak. It was much better than I expected.

Our server was friendly, helpful a efficient. This restaurant is so good that you should eat here any time you find yourself within fifty miles of Clementine’s Restaurant. You’ll be glad you did.

Clementines is a quaint little restaurant. BYOB and cash only. Good atmosphere and clean. For an appetizer, my husband and I shared Fried Brie which was delicious. For the main course, I had the salmon and my husband had pork chops. It is my fault that I did not read the description closely but the salmon was dry without any sauce. I asked our server, Jake, if they had tartar sauce. Unfortunately, they do not carry that, but were able to provide a remoulade (mayonnaise and Dijon mustard). It was ok but nothing fantastic. My husband was happy with the pork chop.

incredible and wonderful restaurant with a taste of New Orleans in Avon. We have been wanting to come here for a while but timing was always off. Now we finally made it and very happy we did. There are three rooms for dining each with unique decorations on the wall. That in and of itself make for a different dinning experience. Then the food. We first split a salad which was delicious. Then blackened tuna and blackened catfish. Add on the hush puppies. Awesome dinners. But we were not done. Go for desert, espresso and cappuccino. Good service. Just makes for an excellent experience for dinner. Definitely on on the revisit list.

Outstanding service. Super friendly and focused on your experience there. The decor is just awesome. Super relaxing. Portions are huge…well worth the cost. And the food….everything we had was amazing. Blackened Tuna, Blackened Catfish, Eggplant and a Filet special. Desert was also very good…..try the Buttercake. You will be sad if you don’t.

I give this quaint and wonderfully decorated with unique finds restaurant 5 due to the wonderful staff who aim to please. I really felt close to some of the old places I have stayed at and eaten at going back to the 80’s and beyond in that wonderful city called New Orleans. ps…the food is great too !

Best part…I received a lagniappe from the proprietor! A vintage Chantecler brooch !! If you collect vintage jewelry…this is a hot spot ! They have cabinets full of pieces that are fabulous !
