I love their gorditas, honestly some of the best in the LA area! They have enough seating and even a heater for chilly days. Love that they always give chips topped with mole and cheese as a starter ✨ Their aguas are also a must try, both their lemon w/chia seeds and Jamaica (hibiscus)are bomb! It’s a family run business which I love, they’re so friendly!!

If you are ever in the area, definitely do not sleep on this place. We stopped in after a tour of the Watts towers ( this place is close to the towers). The food here is authentic and very delicious. I had the costillas de puerco en salsa morita, it comes with rice and beans oh and freshly made corn tortillas and it did not disappoint. The agua de Jamaica was really good. We also had tacos, which really. This place is 10/10. I highly recommend you stop in and try it out.

I’m such a fan of Clemen’s Kitchen. My friends and I have nothing but good things to say:
-the food is excellent (we all had different things, all delicious. + love the salsa/hot sauce/sauce options!)
-The owners are so nice; you’re not just coming here for a great meal, you’re welcomed into a space to enjoy that with a genuine warmth.

Reason for my review was cause I was over charged after confirming what I ordered. If prices are not the real prices online posted; then I was over charged 14-15 dollars.
After paying, person didnt say bye or look at me which isnt needed. But the surcharge was a disappointment
No receipt was given. I can call back to address issue with owner, just not fair being overcharged .
